Nice cottages, very clean and well equipped. We were unfortunately not properly welcomed as their reservation system failed (read: they hadn't written down our reservation when we phoned a month ahead of time to book, and they apparently had no trace of the credit card information we provided). That made for a hospitality experience that was less pleasant than it should have been, given the nice setting and well maintained facility. I hope they sort out their booking system so others are greeted in a more appropriate and hospitable manner.

Wonderful experience! The food was excellent. Enjoyed fish cakes followed by the most amazing home made bakeapple cheesecake and partridgeberry pie. Experience was even more memorable due to the awesome service. Friendly, helpful staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Thanks so much! We will definitely visit again.

Forteau Bay Cottages
I have been travelling the south Labrador coast for many years. Irrespective of the time of day, I stop at the Restaurant for a bowl of their seafood chowder. It is superb! Full of seafood! And friendly Labradorean service, of course.
