Rapid Boost Marketing

Over the last several months, we have been working closely with Rapid Boost to both update our website and enhance our social media content. Denise and her team have worked diligently to update our marketing to suit our new focus and they are always eager to make changes and small adjustments to get things just right. We have acquired one of the pre-sale commercial bays in the downtown area designed by ACI Homes. The team dedicatedly work hard to bring in innovation in their design with a cost saving approach. As the designs are finalized and we are moving towards construction, MR has conducted couple of pre-construction meetings with us to select the right material for our premise. The construction team looks very co-operative and we are expecting a timely turn-around of our project, Highly recommend to check out their projects which are at the pre-sale stage.

I have to start by saying the people that were assigned to me as the marketing team were very nice. The issues arrive from the quality of service and material they provided. Let’s start off with the web page development. The web page took a bit to get started and once I received my first draft I realized that we were worlds apart from my business vision. There was very little time spent on understanding my business and my vision.The web page had information that did not fall into my industry category, and photos that were obviously from overseas as the equipment in the photos is not available or used in North America. Next the timelines for responses or corrections took a minimum of two days, and continued to be a copy and paste from other web sites. There was zero information created by rapid boost marketing, it was all taken from other web sites…not the type of ethical business I want to create.The web page was sourced to India and the understanding of my business just didn’t seem to be understood. The lay out of the web page was extremely generic and again, the information was for a completely different industry.The marketing is another story. We wanted to hit the social media forums quickly and get professional looking ads out to the local community. In the six week period there were a total of two ads placed on face book and the ads that were placed were made up from information i gave them and ads that our parent company out of Calgary had created. There was no explanation to why there was delays and very little relevant communication from the team. So to the point I paid the $1050 for set up cost (still not sure what this entailed) and $ 1500 for half of the web page development For this money, I received absolutely nothing of value and what I did receive was not worthy to use as it would have devalued the brand I’m building. When discussed the sales manager agreed with my concerns and I canceled any service going forward. I am still out the $ 2500 along with 6 weeks of wasted time and potential revenue lost. They refuse to refund the money even when they acknowledged the lack of service and quality.My suggestion is to look elsewhere and if you want to see the quality of work or discuss my experience with rapid boost please feel free to contact me. If you are reading this you care about building your business, brand and an identity, make the right choice for you and your company. Rapid Boost may be right for you but it certainly wasn’t a fit for us.One last thing when I told them I would be leaving this review and there exact words were we will bite back also. I will keep this review posted and updated on how they bite back. Too many people will cut their looses for subpar work/service never say anything, as business owners we provide quality work and services to our clients/customers so we expect the same.
