Amazing Mediterranean food. Rolls are amazing and portion size is huge. The only drawback is that seating is limited so, you may need to wait or get a takeout

BEST shawarma of Canada!!!!I got a chicken shawarma platter and garlic potatoes and oh my god do yourself a favor and go all the way to Calgary for it. The portion is generous, the sides are everything you need (no lettuce thank god somewhere a little authentic), best garlic sauce and the potatoes were crispy and seasoned perfectly! Only thing is it might be tough to sit and eat there as the place is a little small, but we managed to get a table and eat 4 platters in it. Loved it!The service is truly the symbol of Arab hospitality. They were welcoming and satisfying.

Can't say I'm in the majority here with most of the positive reviews. The price of their Shawarma here is higher than most in Calgary and it has a pungent smell to it. It's quite thin for the price paid. Other than that, the taste is decent but needs more seasoning. The shop is also quite small and fits maybe 10 people max.

This was some of the best Arab food I’ve had in Canada. The servings are delicious and generous, and the service is next level.You get the authentic Arab experience with classic dishes like shawarma, kafta, and taouk and of course with the timeless add-ons like toum and pomegranate molasses.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a delicious Arab meal with excellent service.

I recently had lunch at Damascus, a fantastic restaurant in Calgary that offers a unique traditional Middle Eastern cuisine. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, however, they have a couple of tables, so it’s not a dine in place (one or 2 persons max).The menu was quite rich, offering a wide variety of dishes to choose from, including falafel, kebabs, and shawarma! The flavors were bold and flavorful, and I was especially impressed by the rich spices and herbs used to season. The sandwiches/wraps were generous! I was able to enjoy a delicious and satisfying meal.I also appreciated the service I received. Ahmed and Ayham were knowledgeable about the menu and provided great recommendations based on my preferences. They were friendly, generous and attentive!Overall, I highly recommend Damascus for anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience.
