Got a rice bowl for lunch. I wanted shrimp but they had none so I got beef barbacoa instead. It wasn’t as good a substitute as I thought it would be. Food was more salty than flavourful overall. I did really like the medium salsa (pico de gallo with pineapple) but everything else was just okay. The staff were friendly and pleasant. I’ve had a rice bowl from the college and yonge location in the past, and it was great so this one was a bit disappointing for me.

2023 May 2.5★Had the tortilla chips. Freshly made and seasoned, was ok. All natural stone ground whole grain tortilla chips.Crispy and a hard crunch. Not too salty.It's not amazing and would've expected better given that it's fresh.Area clean and it's not busy during the evening. Though I've been told it's busier during lunch.

i’ve tried a couple of times here and i’m disappointed with some of the staff. They rejected an uber eats order for an item with fish saying it was “sold out”. Yet, when I went in person 10 minutes later and asked for the same item, they were able to provide it for me. Next, the hours of operation here are posted as until 7pm. I came at 6:30 and the doors were locked and staff were waving me away saying they were closed. I used to love zteca, but i’m not dealing with another inconvenience. I won’t be returning.

Ordered the veggie burrito. Fresh and tasty. Nice service too.Update:My second visit was just as great as my first. Different server this time and still same great service. I had the chicken burrito and it was delicious.How come you guys are closed Saturdays?

$13.50 for this burrito bowl is a total rip off. Super small portion with like 1 scoop of rice and 5 pieces of chicken. Taste good but not worth it. Truly disappointing.

Wonderful experience, visited this location on Friday June 10 and it was their grand opening. Staff were all very happy and excited, and it was the first time I tried this restaurant/brand. The steak bowl that I ordered was delicious, fresh and kept me full all afternoon! Will for sure return and can’t wait to try more items on the menu!

My husband brought me here saying how great the food and service is here. He was right. I had the shrimp burrito and it was delicious and big portion. The staff was really nice too. Keep up the great work guys! And please open on weekends as well :)
