Great company to work with. Their staff have always been great !

Went to the local Coalhurst bar. Talked with the locals and said I work at Precon. They all gave me their deepest condolences.This company sure has a terrible reputation from locals. Working here for just one month I saw 20 people quit.Don’t work here.Company axed the safety department and janitors to save money. Employees are forced to clean the toilets.Don’t work here. 40 degree conditions. Forced to wear heavy clothes. Very hostile management.Also they will go after employees for writing reviews. Read the other reviews of them harassing others. Sickening.Look : they responded to me. And I am an employee. I am a FRED

They show a genuine desire to connect with the people they work with and make the operation one that supports employees. I have had many years of incredible experiences working with Precon. I have seen firsthand how much they care about not only the finished product but the safety and well being of the employees who work there.

Highest turnover rate I have seen In my life in the concrete industry. Been here for a year and seen 75+ employees leave. Company failed safety audits and there are very creepy managers there who call me buddy and other inappropriate names.

I worked for a full year as a co-op student at Precon. It was hard work but one of the BEST experiences I had in university. I learned so much practical experience I have since been able to apply to my current career upon graduating.I started out working in the shop learning the day to day tasks of employees. Once I gained enough knowledge and understanding of concrete production I was assigned a mentor and a concrete department of about 20 employees to manage. I had a great support structure to rely on! There was a steep learning curve however regular meetings with management and my mentor helped me succeed.One thing I valued most was the trust and independence I was granted. I was given a great deal of responsibility which made me feel a valued member of the team.I enjoyed the position so much that I returned during summers and part time during the remainder of my time in university.
