This place is horrible. They feed you crap. Ignore thier application, they say they have a music room they have a broken piano. This place is only good for people 6 or younger. Do not bring someone 7 or older. It is the definition of hell. They treat you like your 5 when your 12.

I’ve been taking my 5YO here since he was 6 weeks old. Any time I had an issue, it was immediately addressed. The owner & staff are always concerned with making sure my son is getting the best care. I love that 3K & 4K are right in the same building. I appreciate that the kids get breakfast & lunch & snacks & I don’t have to provide any of that or pay extra. I especially like the app that the teachers use to keep parents posted about our kids during the day. I occasionally get pictures of him and it makes my day. When my son was potty training, they did a great job of rewarding him on his dry days. Great people! Thank you for doing such a good job with my son!

Like another reviewer has expressed, I had negative experiences with the owner, who didn’t seem to be caring, understanding, and possess other traits I would want of the owner of my child’s daycare. In reality, she seemed stressed out and lacking strong interpersonal skills. As for the workers, I heard some complain about the parents of the children they were watching. They also weren’t patient with the children and yelled often. They weren’t horrible, but weren’t passionate about children. Overall, going to Shining Stars Learning Center made me question whether to even put my children in childcare.

This plac is garage it always stinks of dirty diapers my kid has been really hurt more than once they are not working on potty training. The teachers are always sitting on their phones or tablets I pulled up today and caught a boy about to punch a little girl in the face my son has been hospitalized due to other kids the lack of supervision is sickening my son is always a mess I had to tell the teachers to keep his hat and mittens on when they're outside In cold weather. This place needs to be shut down plain and simple 0 stars

Terrible place! Don’t send your kids. Teachers are terrible. Owner doesn’t care about the kids or her workers. Classrooms are dirty. Toys are never cleaned. Things are broken. Food is nasty. DONT WORK HERE OR SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE! It’s a real s*it show!

Been there 5 months and my kids have been nonstop sick ever since, I’m paying for everyday to have to stay home with them 60% of the time. They are understaffed and you can clearly tell by the people they choose to staff, that they don’t have a lot of options. I chose this place as a last resort since all the other daycares were full. There’s a reason that this place always has availability. Staff is nice, they do have some good individuals, but I come home to my daughter talking about how she doesn’t wanna go because the teacher is mean, screaming in the morning cause she doesn’t wanna see the teacher. You walk in the building to an illegal student to teacher ratio, they allow sick kids and don’t even ask questions. They forget to charge you like they are supposed to each week, and then add charges at the end of the month , designed to put you in debt. Then if you don’t pay attention they add additional charges for legit no reason other then to see if you notice or not. It’s just so unprofessional. It should be cheaper for the amount of unprofessionalism and understaff. I know it’s hard times with covid but it’s children, it’s important to have top quality when dealing with youth. I bit my Tongue long enough, and I try being super nice and understanding, but that is way to many things.

As a former employee who worked there was to much drama between staff and co workers and the cleanliness of the place was horrible. It’s pretty obvious the staff and not care about the kids. They would rather spend more times on the phone then be child care providers.

I have had a very good experience with this center. We switched from playhouse 4 the precious to here, alot of changes have been made from what I understand. My kids love it there, I would recommend.

We have been with shining stars for over a year now. Haven't had any issues with the care, they helped my oldest adjust to being in daycare when she previously was watched at home. They are flexible with my schedule. My girls love going and always say they had a good day.
