Professional service with an excellent assortment of fabrics. The owner works directly with customers and has good advice on which fabrics are suitable for your upholstery needs (ie indoor or outdoor, living room vs other areas in the home, etc). If you have furniture you love but need an update like I did, this is an excellent, small business, family owned and operated.I tried a few of the other well known upholstery services in North Vancouver but non of them were open on the weekends so for working parents like us, that is not convenient.

I have dealt with Alena, the owner of Capilano Custom interiors in the past and she appeared to be a reasonable person. After an experience this week, I would never darken her door again and I warn any patrons to beware of the way she conducts business.I dropped into her store to return a fabric sample. I had not been there for 2 minutes and as we discussed an upholstery matter she presumed" that I was saying something else to her and started screaming at me. I did my very best to remain composed
