Five Span Bridge Park
This was a great place to stop take a break from driving. It is just outside of Ottawa and is located in a really cute town. Wear your shoes when walking through the water as the rocks are a bit slippery!

Great little park by the river. Can Wade into the shallow water by the bridge, there's a little boat launch and lots of places along the shore to fish.

This is a nice rest stop area located in Pakenham. The park itself is located next to an historic, single-lane bridge that you'll want to take it nice and slow going over. There are two different areas you can stop at on either side of the bridge; one is larger and the other can accommodate only a few cars.We stopped at the smaller one, had a bit of food on the bench and then walked along the rocky shore of the water due to the water level itself being so low.

Five Span Bridge Park
This was a beautiful discovery along our drive. The bridge is thought to be one of the only 5 span stone bridges left in North America. The town was once a thriving mill town, now it is a quiet little stop along the road. The rapids that flow under the bridge used to carry logs down to Ottawa for the lumber industry. Boating seems to be big right here, as boats enter the water at the boat ramp along with people fishing from shore.

This is actually a place to play. Different from beaches, u hv more options to have fun. The mini waterfalls are just a blast to mess with. The relativity rush current is fun to walk accross. You can also do the usual swimming and boating here. Very very nice place.

Nice place to spend a few hours or a picnic. Free parking but not lots of spaces.

Five Span Bridge Park
Very picturesque. As a one of a kind in North America, I had not known of the significance of this bridge until I read the plaque. Many people out having picnics in the adjoining park.

Five Span Bridge Park
Beautiful piece of art, only one of its kind in North America. Great place to sit and listen to the falls. Not the safest place to swim, undertow is very dangerous so beware.

Five Span Bridge Park
There are special five-hole stone bridges, clear rivers, and mini waterfalls. Anyway, this is a very suitable place for children to play in the water. But first, you need to wear a swimsuit and wading shoes, and prepare for sun protection. Secondly, please hold the children's arms because the current is very turbulent. In addition, please pay attention to the location of the deep water area and don't risk it easily.
