The Stone Cellar
Lovely atmosphere with a gas fireplace in the middle of the dining area. We went for our anniversary and sat next to the wine cellar which was wonderful. Had two cocktails, an appetizer, the lamb and salmon and it was all very tasty and reasonably priced. Service was also fantastic. We would return again in a heartbeat.

Food average. Service not good. Service took over 3 hours. We were a large group and we were charged 20$ per person for no shows and we were not informed in advance this was the case. Not helpful and told us that we took advantage of small business. Very insulting. Will not go back.April 25 2023 - In response to the owner. Would like to state that we have a right to our opinion and do so to help other clients make there decision. I did not state that food was bad but average for some of us depending of the food. As for the 20$ charge, we can debate on this but will let it go as I know that we were not informed about this policy. As for losing 4 reservations, I would debate on this as well as the restaurant was not at full capacity and there was some empty tables. As for arriving late, that is not the case. The reservation was for 6:30pm and we were there on time. You must be mistaken of group as we were not in the lobby having drinks as this is not possible at the hotel we were staying. The whole dinner time took almost 3 hours as we were there at 6:30pm and left at about 9:30pm. When we did receive the bill, we did discuss with the waitress and asked to talk to the manager/owner and were told that they could not reach you and that you were already in bed. As for me and other colleague screaming insults to the waitress stating psychotherapist and staff member wondering how you would know this as you were not there and do not know us and would state that this was not the case. We were upset but respectful and not screaming and you have no clue who I am therefore how can you say that I was screaming. We were clients, and the client is always right but we tried to negotiate and show our willingness to resolve but insulted when were told that we do not treat small businesses right and that the police would be called on us. Come on and this for 80$ and tax charged on top of this! I am the chair of the school board and very proud of who we are and what we stand for. I will not be calling the owner as I will not be going back. Hope other clients have better experience.

Recently went here with a large party of people. Service was incredibly slow and dinner took nearly 3 hours. Servers forgot multiple drinks, and charged us for the wrong drinks as well. Food was good, but mostly cold by the time it got to our table. The prices are very high considering the quality of the food. The atmosphere however was very good. The ladies bathroom smelt like red skittles.

Very slow , in experienced service staff ( not their fault)for over inflated prices .We were sat at 6pm and ordered within a few minutes. They were out of 3 of the 4 drinks we ordered. The beer came unopened with ice in the glass. Our appetizers took over an hour and we didn’t receive our main courses until 8:20!! No manager in sightNice location, great decor, but unfortunately we won’t go back or recommend .

A fantastic place to stop in on a busy afternoon. Super friendly staff greeting at the door and straight through to the shady patio in the back to enjoy the comings and goings of the town. We enjoyed some delicious amber ales from the local Perth Brewery and oysters followed by some small plates of olives and feta and the tastiest pretzels. The charcuterie was also excellent. Recommended!

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely dinner at The Stone Cellar! The whole team was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, they have a fantastic cocktail list and wine menu, the truffle Parm fries were phenomenal, and our meals were delicious. We can't wait to return!

I’ve been three or more times to this restaurant and don’t remember it being this bad.A rating of two is generous.Luke warm tasteless soup was returned after one spoonful and was still charged on my bill.I ordered a a beer and got a glass full of ice to go with it??The salad was just averageFish n chips was store bought frozen filets and it was over cooked. This was a Sunday, the waitress was alone and did her best to keep people happy. Unfortunately, she had no help whatsoever, she did her job, but the store owner should be ashamed of the food preparation, and overall lack of service.I don’t recommend it and I won’t be going back.

The food was delicious but the service was among the worst I’ve experienced. The server was rushing us out of the restaurant — the music was shut off during dinner, the lights in part of the restaurant were turned off during dinner, and we were offered our dessert to go. As well, we were only offered drinks twice despite having empty glasses for most of our stay. The ambience is quite nice despite not being able to read the menu because of the low light, and the quality of the food was pretty good. I won’t be back for a long while.

Visited on a Sunday evening, new menu had launched with some good dishes. Atmosphere is pleasant. Server could be more knowledgeable about overall menu choices even with update as well as wine choices. 5 star would be attained if more knowledgeable as well presence of flies in establishment bothersome during meal.

Good food and good ambience. But a little steeply priced for a small town. The starters were good. We ordered yeh carb cake and for main the lamb racks were good but the shank for sub par. If you’re visiting Perth and looking for semi fine dine then this might be the place you want to check out.
