This place was great till the takeover , now the fish is over cooked ,change in oil or somthing as the fish looks / tastes gross and chewy also drenched in oil.fries have also gone far down oil .done with there and it was our favorite. Please fring back the old local management not this takeover .There is there family that lives in the booths now and always got to add 15 - 20 min to there given pickup time when u call ahead .garbage..just garbage .

We decided to stop in here for some classic fish & Chips and sorry we did. Unfortunately… we had the 1piece cod combo. Fries were warm and limp. No crunch at all. The coleslaw was tasty. Fresh. The star of the plate however was very disappointing. The ends were very promising. Crisp n crunchy. The more I worked my way to the center of the fish it began to get soggy. Like mash potatoes consistency. Gross to say the least. The batter was soggy around this area as well. We couldn’t finish our meal. I would also like to mention that our meal took an hour to prepare. My wife jokingly said: They must be out catching the fish so should be good & fresh. I wish she was right. The meat had completely disintegrated into mush. No flakiness at all. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Disappointing…

Superior Fish & Chips
Reviews were great so we decided to try this place for the first time for take out today. At the risk of sounding too harsh maybe but the truth is the fish and onion rings were way too greasy for consumption. My wife and I both felt so queasy after a few bites that we couldn’t even get through the first piece of fish. Fries were too dry but with some ketchup at least were somewhat edible. The tartar sauce (I think) was way too salty. This was the first time ever that I came across a fish&chips I couldn’t finish. I’ve had some bad ones over the years but this one takes the cake for the worst. Then again, might have been an off day for them since others have had good experiences. Unfortunately, I won’t dare to try again.

It seems there has been a change of ownership since we last ate here and a complete loss of quality.We have been here two times before for the gluten free onion rings and they were delicious.Some of the other pictures posted here make the food look respectable but what we got here recently was complete garbage.Anyone who has spent more than 5 minutes in a fish and chip restaurant would know that what they served was completely unacceptable. Batter was almost too hard to bite into. No idea how they could even bring this out and serve to customers.

Further, I shared I could not even make I positive remark about the experience.The owner requested more information, so I am adding...Both my Husband and I were very ill after we ate. We ordered two of the big platters on the day they were discounted. Plenty of food for 4 persons. Great fish n chip place, plus UK beers as well. Multiple types of fish to choose from. Fries are handmade. Had to prepay for the food, so it's like a fast food place even though it's a restaurant.

I dont think we’ve ever had a bad experience, fish is done to perfection and the tarter sauce is the best! They never disappoint!I love that they wrap your order in paper, very traditional!

This used to be such a great little chippy been coming here for years, but now they serve up Frozen French Fries instead of Freshly cut chips? and no pies? What happened? Such a shame. As a Brit I almost cried when they served them up.

Superior Fish & Chips
Happened upon this place after taking a wrong turn in Devon Alberta. What a delight to have found this gem. First impression clean. Plenty of parking. Great menu for the British style chip shop. Cod was perfect. Pasty was great, sausage in batter to good to miss.I would recommend this place it is worth the drive from Edmonton area. Will be back soon.Try it you will love the food. And they serve Beer, Tea and Pop.
