I had a nice appointment with Crystal. First customer of the day right at opening. She did a great job listening to my needs and made quick work of cleaning up my long length hair. Biggest hang up is that it’s cash only - which I didn’t know prior to sitting down - so I effectively had to eTransfer for my cut with puts an additional fee on top of cost + tip. Doesn’t exactly make sense to me. Also I feel like the interior could use some work on it. Otherwise great service!

I have been living in Victoria, BC for six years now and have tried numerous hairdressers. When I lived in Vancouver I usually went to Suki's to have my hair cut, because they are the best in town. Several months ago I found a small, family-owned hairdressing salon just 10 minutes from where I now live. I am very happy to say that Christine does an excellent job! My hair is always perfectly even on both sides, which other hairdressers in Victoria, don't seem able to do. Christine has cut my hair twice now and every time, it has been perfect! This small salon may be difficult to spot, but it's well worth your time to find it and get Christine to cut it for you.

I I went to Nick's hair salon today and had a terrible cut. The gentleman did what he wanted to do to my hair, not what I wanted.

After years of searching, I finally found a great hairdresser in Christine at Nick's Hair Salon. She is skilled and also a wonderful genuine person. I always felt comfortable asking questions and talking through ideas with her. So much experience. She did a great job prioritizing my preferences while also answering questions and giving her advice.

I will call Nick's Hair salon the Best-Kept -Secret in Victoria. Excellent stylists work really hard to make sure you get the exact haircut you want, and they do this with a fabulous down to earth, cheerful and caring attitude. As if that wasn't enough to get your attention, their prices are fabulous.I got an awesome and very stylish short hair cut and my mother got colouring and styling. Both jobs were fantastic.Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed

This is a really good place to get a haircut, I’d argue it’s the best in Victoria. Give them a chance, you won’t be upset. Hairdressers are very friendly and professional, and they actually care about how the hair looks in the end, unlike other places. The price is very reasonable, and for the service that is given, it’s a good deal.

I took my 80 year old mother here for a haircut. She was in the chair less than 20 mins. She was charged full price for a Woman's haircut ($30). When I asked about the seniors rate ($21) They claimed the senior rate posted on the website is for men only.... Sad to see seniors treated this way. Not a great cut either. They were very pleasant to her and that was nice.
