CIBC Branch with ATM

This CIBC is both good and bad at the same time. The staff is super friendly and helpful in this cozy little CIBC but the parking lot is always jam packed. Also, theres been a few times during peak periods that the lineups almost head out the door, yet several tills remained closed...?

Absolutely worst experience here. 35 min wait to pick up a bank draft that I was told was ready. They had to prepare it while I was there and took an additional 20 mins to get it done. Very unprofessional and disorganized. Please don't use this branch and better yet don't use this bank

Walked in to open my account for the first time after completing online process, the branch honestly was not giving me good vibes at all. It looked like it was under construction or renovating, if they are actually doing either ignore my little rant. Anyways, I received the email after completing online process and it just says to visit nearest branch with ID and reference number. So I did. There was a guy infront of me and the teller was finishing what she had to do, he leaves, she tells me one moment please, then after the guy leaves she says, “oops, I was supposed to give this back”. Immediately, my confidence in CIBC went from 100% to not at all. They forgot to give the customer guy a paper they were supposed to give back… on top of that the teller tells me I would’ve needed to book an appt to finish the creation on my bank account, which I mentioned it doesn’t say in the email which was sent to me. She says she knows and doesn’t know why it says that. My partner opened a new account with a new bank as well, received the same email explaining to just come in with ID and they were able to get it done right there. The overall atmosphere of this branch, mixed in with what appears as construction, and the teller admitting she forgot to give the previous customer a document, I just overall want to rescind my application to open a new account and run for my life. I wouldn’t trust CIBC with my personal or business needs, what was Costco thinking when they partnered with them.

I had the pleasure of serving the managers Kristen and Amanda at my restaurant the other day and they were so friendly and courteous that I am now opening an account at this branch. I think both of these ladies embodied the principle of professionalism and represented CIBC in a manner most becoming of the institution. For these reasons I would highly recommend this branch.

Worst customer service I've ever had. I understand that there are things beyond their control but the condescending attitude I got from the manager which infuriating. She was not apologetic and made me feel like I was at fault when it was telephone backings mistake. I will switch banks because of this experience

I had such a wonderful time with Mehak and Melanie who promptly, efficiently, and kindly fulfilled my request right before closing! So thankful for the experience!!

most are great, you will know the experienced ones, a couple decided it was better to carry on their personal conversation than help an employee who asked them a question about some issue I had. This is happening at all the banks. Inexperienced people are called Financial Reps who know nothing, have no past experience, we are guinea pigs while they learn on the job. We have no time to sit for an hour while they figure out what they need to do to help us out. They should be well trained before they meet with clients, and know their system perfectly before they even begin to attempt to help us. Make they study their system before they help people. The CIBC coins system is a joke, which has not been updated for the past 25 years. And please quit arranging appointments and divisive when alloting meeting with clients. A coloured person does not have to only meet with another coloured employee.
