Porta Romana Restaurant
My sister and I were craving pasta and were not disappointed with the great selection at Porta Romano! We ordered the tortellini and the butternut squash ravioli and both were great with lots of flavour! Our server Megan was lovely and very attentive as well. The ambience is nice, not too loud and relaxing. We also enjoyed a couple classes of wine. Price point is moderate (slightly less than Sorrentinos but I’d argue this is better quality and I’d prefer to support local).No complaints, will be back!

EXCEPTIONAL private wedding reception experience! We treated our bridal party and immediate family to dinner at Porta Romana after our ceremony. We had the entire restaurant to ourselves and were able to rearrange/decorate how we like. They served us the most delicious authentic Italian five course meal including charcuterie, stuffed mushrooms, handmade pasta, dill salmon, prime rib, Italian desserts, and so much more!! The service was incredible, the atmosphere perfect, and the food was so, so good! I would recommend this option to anyone looking for AMAZING food and atmosphere!

My husband and I decided to have a date there to celebrate 14 years together. I got all dressed up for my husband and exited to get away from kids. As soon as we got there, the friends of the owners daughter, I assume, started shouting “goldigger” while looking at me.. I have never seen those people before! The waitress was hanging out with them the entire night and talked to me with this weird fake attitude. Really killed the mood…Then they served us calamari cooked in an old burned oil, with ketchup. It tasted very bitter and ketchup made it so much worse. My husband’s lamb was very niceMy $45 fillet steak was cooked rare and I asked for medium. I didn’t complain as I didn’t want to ruin our date completely.My cosmopolitan cocktails where 2/3 full.Not going back there and I do not recommend this place.

On the menu they have lamb rack which should consist of 8 chops, a half rack being 4 chops. What I received was only 2 chops. For the price that's totally unacceptable and misrepresented. Very small portion size on other main dishes but well presented and tasty. Overall poor value for the price.

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the owner of the restaurant. Very friendly, and warm greeting.The restaurant demonstrated as a very safe environment during COVID-19 times.. tables were spaced out and I felt very comfortable eating out.The food came out hot and fresh. The food was delicious and came out with a generous portion size.As a person who travels a lot and eats out alot, I was very pleased and will return again.

My family and I ate at this restaurant for my father's 74th birthday and had an absolutely amazing experience! We were greeted by the restaurant owner as soon as we walked in. The staff were incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. I'm actually pretty shocked that this restaurants is right here in Spruce Grove. It definitely deserves more attention. I will definitely be coming back!

We came across this amazing restaurant by chance as we were at a junior A camp across the road at the arena. We booked a reso and were blown away with the food. The second we stepped foot in the restaurant we were blown away with the amazing garlic smell! The staff and owners were so friendly and so amazing. And the food…..WOW the food was some of the BEST Italian food we’ve ever had !! Now every time we are visiting Spruce Grove we make sure we can stop in for some dinner! We are super excited to come back next weekend!!! My kids are super excited.

This is such a lovely gem of a restaurant. The food is always amazing. So fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is casual elegance and very comfortable. The staff are excellent and I would recommend for any evening out.

Nice restaurant with great food options. The menu was easy to go through and the prices were reasonable. The staff were friendly and pretty helpful and the decor was really nice. Check this place out if you get the chance!
