I love this place!I recently purchased two of their mens wool sweaters and they’re lovely. I noticed a small hole in one of them a few weeks ago and brought it back in, the owner repaired it on the spot for me. I can’t tell there ever was a hole now! Fantastic service.

My favourite small business to get fabric masks from. Good quality, comfortable to wear, with nose-wires and extra filter pocket included. Durable as well, nothing has frayed or broken down after 2 years of use! I trust the materials these masks are made of, 100% cotton (rather than whatever synthetic fabric big brands usually make clothes out of and are now repurposing for masks). Haven't had the chance to browse the rest of their wares in person, but I hope to have the chance when I am in the area.

I have a couple of wool blankets from the Irish Design House and they are great for cold winter's nights at home. Whether you are binge watching reruns, reading, or snuggling you will be nice and cozy with a blanket from the Irish Design House. They also have a lovely collection of sweaters, scarves and hats. The sales people are increasingly nice and helpful.

I absolutely love this store, this was such a treasure to find! It's a small cozy hand-made Irish craft and clothing shop with an authentic, home-like atmosphere. Their clothing and blanket items are lovely, high quality, with beautiful colour schemes, that make you want to cozy up with a cup of tea on a rainy day in a small cottage on the coast in Ireland. The material, weave, and cut of the sweaters in particular draw you in with their warmth and hug-like feel. I adore a thick, cable-knit sweater, which is a staple in my wardrobe, and personally I find theirs to be unparalleled in larger brands. I could LIVE in their dresses, their cut, style, colours, and patterns are so timeless, versatile, and flattering! Again, very hard to find dresses like these elsewhere, especially with this level of quality and durability. Their bags were also stand-out items to me, with practical yet stylish and unique designs in earthy fabrics and tones rather than flashy or plastic-like materials that are so prevalent in most places. The exposed brick wall, gorgeous and unique dark wood ceiling, and thoughtful lighting create a warm, character-rich ambiance that is slightly darker than the outdoors, which I actually like and think give it a cozy, insulated feel. Their accessories, jewellery, home decor, kitchen items, cards, soaps, and dishes are a collection of endearing, unique, hand-crafted/artisan design, there is so much to choose from that you wouldn't find elsewhere. They also have a delightful array of snacks, biscuits, candies and other treats imported from the U.K., which are very nostalgic and novel. I was so happy to find these and know that there's a shop that provides these. The layout of the store is intentional and easily leads you through the various sections, further heightening the cottage-home feel by arranging many of their items in lovely wooden furniture pieces with unique colours and grains; they have a clear intention to ensure that even the objects that display their products are beautiful, which I love. It feels as though you are wandering through an inviting country home, and you almost expect to hear the crackle of a toasty fireplace at some point. The customer service was welcoming, helpful, and friendly, and I wish I could make it out to this shop more often. There's so much I'd love to buy here! It's a must-see if you're in the area.

What a great little shop! (No, this is NOT a kitschy Irish souvenir shop.) It carries quality, handcrafted unique items from Ireland, for women and for men. Fashionable, sleek clothing as well as some traditional designs. Small household items, jewellery, etc. I bought some woollen items and am very happy with them. And you have to love their t-shirts with a witty slogan as only the humorous Irish can create!

Can't go wrong in visiting the Irish Design House when in need of gift ideas. They have so much goods! Also, all the staff and owner are lovely individuals - good cozy vibes all around

I purchased a beautiful sweater from Sinead a few years ago and it has remained one of my most treasured pieces of clothing. Just this past January I had the pleasure of attending her sewing classes and enjoyed them immensely! I walked in not knowing how to turn my sewing machine on (and scared of it!) and walked out with a beautiful scarf and the confidence to try projects on my own. Sinead - thank you for teaching me. I always love chatting with you and your designs are beautiful! Can't wait to come by the store for a shop :)
