I don’t like doing this to restaurants because I do feel like it really hurts them so I haven’t said anything the last 3 times I’ve been here but we spend way too much money to continue this microwaved chicken. Festivals are supposed to be soft and dough like- these are rock solid pipes- chicken- more oil than I’ve ever seen in cooked food, always getting the sizing wrong so making me pay more but getting less. It’s just too many times now. I always feel that we’re so judged when we come In because our race difference in our relationship that the cashier barely pays attention to our order just wants to look me up and down… like ma’am I’m just trying to eat some food and I’m paying top dollar and always tap a tip on it. Off to find a new spot in Brampton again I guess

I had good experience with Their Jerk-chicken rice and peas their coleslaw salat one of the best becaue I normally don’t eat that but this is the one I enjoyed and the portions amazing and delicious worth of each dollar I spend we were working in that area and we been there for lunch there pretty much every week sometime twice a week we normally order more than 4 meals so good I highly recommended for all your jerk chicken cravings ..! One of the best in Brampton. ❤️❤️Perfect spices cooked well and juicy im craving already white writing this I wish if they add fried plantains on the side will add more delicious and a treat for us but all over best I ever had

HORRIBLE SERVICE! The tall woman at the counter should not be assisting the public in any capacity. Am I inconveniencing you by making you do your job?? It’s unfortunate that this establishment has such an embarrassment employed there.

food is great but the short lady at the front needs to be replaced. shes takes your order and you wait for 10min to find out there sold out of what u ordered. or shes comes back to ask you what your order is after u been waiting already. go to other brampton location if u care about customer service.

Just checked the receipt and I have to take off half a star for adding an item (Large Beef Soup $6.50) that we didn't order/ wasn't given. We didn't notice until days later when I looked at the receipt and I originally thought we purchased expensive drinks, hence the $45 bill. Make sure you check our receipts!Overall: 3.5/5Original Review:We visited on a Wednesday evening and ordered a large jerk chicken dinner, a large oxtail dinner and two drinks. The jerk chicken has a little bit of spice on the skin and the meat was juicy. The oxtail was flavourful with plenty of gravy. Both were served with a little bit of slaw and a good portion of rice and peas. For $2-4 more, the large is definitely the way to go. The lady behind the counter was friendly throughout. The prices on their website are outdated and things are about $1-2 higher in October 2022. I didn't see any signs, but were told that their Daily Specials are for orders before 4pm.Food: 3.5/5Value: 4.5/5Service: 4/5

I’ve never seen a business so poorly run as I see here. 7 times out of 10 , they’re out of of stock on that particular item. Today, the Uber driver showed up and there was nothing for him to deliver. I asked them to substitute it for something else and they wouldn’t do it. What a shame!!!

I order fried chicken and rice why on earth did y’all make chicken breast fried chicken. It was so dry I didn’t end up eating it just OK maybe that’s all they had left and I went a different time ordered chicken rice and peas with oxtail gravy and again it was fried chicken breast, who the hell fries chicken breast I’ve never been to a Jamaican restaurant and you get fried chicken breast. It’s supposed to be a thigh and drumstick I do not recommend ordering fried chicken unless you want dry fried chicken breast and I ask for gravy and they put like two drops of gravy on it but the workers are super friendly as much as I don’t like sunrise I would rather eat sunrises fried chicken

I’ll eat anything but the food here is nasty dry and old. The lady working there has an attitude as great as the food taste. Boycott them so they learn to respect their clientele, with decent food and decent attitude.

The worst Jamaican food I have ever had. The soup was like drinking hot dog water and the stew chicken was bone dry. And when I called to complain the customer service was extremely ignorant. Don’t ever go here if you are so much as starving. Wasted my money and they wanted a tip lol!!!!!

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise.Fast, friendly service was unexpected but soooo good to experience. Got one of their daily lunch specials, excellent value for money and comes with some salad and a bottle of water too!The food was fresh and tasty. Well seasoned with just the right amount of herbs and spices, definitely not the sugar-loaded fare offered at another popular Jamaican franchise.Seems to be currently renovating or reorganizing their seating area for in-house dining.High marks for food-freshness, variety and authentic taste.Recommended.
