Hyphen Studio is a hidden gem in the sea of architectural firms in Toronto. At Gabion Developments, ever since we worked with Hyphen we never looked else where. The Hyphen team is extremely knowledgeable about City zoning by-laws and always bring out the best a property can offer. On top of all, their creativity and great designs will strike you the most. We had a wonderful experience working with Hyphen Studio on our new build. Mehdy and Noushin were patient, helpful, and very knowledgeable. They have an excellent sense of design and space which allowed us to get the most out of our square footage. They also helped us easily navigate the difficult city bylaws/codes/committee of adjustments process.10/10 highly recommend!!!

Mehdy and Noshin are very talented and creative designers, especially with narrow-sized lots. During the committee of adjustment meeting, Noshin was able to get all the variances passed without any changes, by making an ingenious and clear demonstration to present and defend my project.I highly recommend them.

Great designs and new vision on modern architecture. You get a better building plan if you tell Mehdy what you want and then allow him and Noushin to show you their vision and let them do their work.We didn’t need to do much change to our plan because it was perfect. When I refer him to my friends and family I call him KING of Modern Architect.Extremely happy that we chose them.

Amazing team, after being denied at our first committee of adjustment hearing using another firm, I was recommended Mehdy at Hyphen and decided to switch. He got my plans approved at the second committee with an improved floor plan and designs. Lots of excuses from the old architect. Mehdy runs a tight operation. Would definitely use again for my next project.

We are at the early stages of design and development of a private residence in North York, but so far it has been a great and pleasant experience working with Mehdy at Hyphen Studio. I really appreciate his creativity and experience in design for a particular location. I can also appreciate Hyphen Studio taking on all the necessary administrative details with the city, especially in this COVID-19 difficult time. Having personally been through that process before, I was more than happy to have it done by a professional team. Looking forward to our final drawing and permit and breaking ground. More comments to come!!!
