I feel the need to post this review as it's not a personal attack on Pat Triggs, but more to serve as a warning to others. I was encouraged by a friend to work with Pat (Triggs Engineering) because he would be more flexible and lenient when it came to certain building codes and would give us more freedom to finish our project within budget with some creative cost-effective alternatives. I wish I had done my research first. Pat Triggs is NO LONGER and ENGINEER. He simply designs his plans, sends them to another Engineer for the stamp, and takes a small fee. Pat came over on several occasions, did his drawings, and would disappear for weeks. It took months before a submission was even made to the City of Kamloops and when it was, it was sent back for being incomplete. I had to chase after him WEEKLY just to get an idea of when the next step of the process would be complete and was constantly told inaccurate dates. Pat was completely unreliable and was was originally promised as a 2 week job turned into over 6 months of messages, e-mails, phone calls, with no result. Eventually PAT just stopped returning my calls and basically fell off the face of the earth. I ended up having to fire him by e-mail and seeing my 50% deposit for the job disappear with him. I then had to go hunting for someone else that would take on our half-finished project which was extremely stressful and caused our family a lot of unnecessary grief. Unreliable. Impossible to reach. Inconsistent. No matter how desperate, please don't make the same mistake as I made.

Lead me on lied about he would do the job had no heart after suffered forest fire. Lead me on and didnt. Even try. Judgment when all i needed was help. Westedge did the report because pat ...hes incompetent and judgmental people dont need that when in emergency set up. ... He knew i was homeless and started to do a job he failed to complete and didnt even cancel. He kept leading me on. Shameful when homeless. Hope u slept good liing to me ... Bad customer care ...

I wish I could do a negative star- review. This man chronically does not do his job, google the court records and you will see some the disciplinary wctions taken toward him. My home insurance is currently suing him and I hope he looses his stamp for good. He has no care for homeowners investment nor safety. I hope he gets whats coming to him. His stamp means nothing.
