Down Home HVAC

Derek and his team had to update our entire heating system. We got a ducted heatpump to replace our old oil furnace. They replaced all of the super old ductwork with thicker grade metal and it was installed just the way we wanted it maximizing our usable basement space. Quote was competitive and accurate and the instal was completed in time for the coldest weeks of winter. Couldn’t be happier with these guys.

I had a great experience with Down Home HVAC. During early communications with estimate, explanation on heatpumps and educated me more on the technology. They came in to assess best place for install. Day of installation went smooth. I was explained thoroughly as I watched on steps of the install. My house is now a comfortable 22 degrees and the Mitsubishi runs quietly. I don't even know it's on and the overall temp is just right. I previously was heating with oil and woodstove, and hope i can now casually use the woodstove only on the coldest days. I stopped paying a monthly bill for my oil to be topped up, and I do expect my electric bill to rise a little, but I think I would still be saving. Thanks DJ!

My mini split indoor unit was operating poorly, I described the problem, Derek knew exactly what the issue was, we ordered some parts, Derek installed them and problem was solved! Couldn’t be happier.
