I bought a hunting knife for each of my groomsmen as a gift. Stephanie was both very knowledgeable and helpful with my selection; and helped me get things done in a timely fashion(Since I left it all to the last minute). Thank you!

I forgot to get the name of the lady who was working here but she had red hair and she was extremely kind and helpful. I asked her a lot of questions about sharpening my own knives and she gave very good advice and showed me the different products they sell for knife sharpening. She was very patient and easy to talk to. I would gladly come again if I needed knife or utensil related products.

They don't honour their price matching policy when it does not suit them.All items are sold 50% higher than MSRP. Very limited selection due to poor restocking and planning on management's part.

Went above and beyond for a warranty issue and took very good care of me. Friendly service and show they genuinely care

So I cant 0 star this place because I love the selection of knives and have got some decent products from here... however I cannot support this business passionately due to recent experiences. My boyfriend brought in several knives to be sharpened. One included a filet knife. They did not disclose to us that they sharpen with a grinder. They DO NOT USE WHETSTONES.All of the knives came back more dull than they were before. The first fish I TRIED to gut after having the blade sharpened"... well it didn't even penetrate the belly easily. (Thing worked better before sharpening)Had to ask someone for a different knife to actually gut the fish. Upon analyzing I thought maybe it was an amateurs job but realizing the bolster was also impacted I got to Reddit. Many other complaints in reddit threads about the use of a grinder on blades at house of knives. Absolutely horrifying given it's a literal knife store.Definitely won't return to have anything sharpened and I might just stop coming altogether. It is a horrible disservice not to disclose sharpening methods to a paying customer.Lesson learned though

Very knowledgeable staff, I knew what style of knife I wanted (10 chef knife) and the employee on shift was able to demonstrate the difference types and benefits of each brand/style of knife. Very pleased with the level of service!"
