Squirrel Creek Conservation Area
Great little park, with access and boat ramp to Otonabee. Busy beach area, but shallow and sandy.

Squirrel Creek Conservation Area
The area was nice, there is a boat launch that is easy to access. I had a great day in the river. There are just two issues, the 1st being there is no permanent building for washrooms, showers, change rooms. This would go a long way to help families. Also it seems the geese use the area when people aren't around, so I advise be careful where you step. I will say going outdoors anywhere you will find wildlife so it's hard to complain when the weather is hot & the water perfect for swimming. There were also a ton of boats & other water craft on the river. All of them kept well away from the dedicated swimming area. Cheers!!!

Squirrel Creek Conservation Area
Great place close to home with free access to beach and boat launch. My only complaint is that it's a bit scary/busy especially for paddling. The boats go so fast! But it looks like everyone is having fun so onlya problem for more timid/beginner swimmer's and paddlers

My favorite spot to spend time. Although it can be busy with the boat launch and the two beaches. You have to be careful not to beach you watercraft on the first beach as you could face a fine.

Good little spot to let kids play in the water. There is a single boat launch a small one and lots of parking. If youre crazy enough theres a bridge too. I DO NOT RECOMMEND JUMPING FROM IT. People do however.

This place gets better and better every year! Hidden gem, free to use. A few weeds in the water and some Goose dropping along the water.
