We hired MAR Mechanical really because they were the only company that could come to our job with short notice. We needed plumbing rerun for a bathroom, downdraft installed, propane cook-top installed, bathroom shower re-plumbed and another bathroom roughed in.Most of their work was fine, at least in our eyes. However we experienced two large issues. The biggest one was that the downdraft wasnt mounted flush to our cooktop, even thought I said thats where it goes as well as the manual from the manufacturer. Instead he mounted it on the inside of the island which was easier but resulted in the downdraft being about 3 inches too far away from the cooktop. Our counter top guy also didnt notice this and cut out and installed counter top for this incorrect placement. End result for us is a downdraft that doesnt work as well as it should and a trim piece that doesnt fully cover the cutout in the counter top as it wasnt intended to be installed in such a way. To fix will cost a lot of money so we left it as is.Now tonight we finally get our shower installed, turn on hot water at the shutoff, we here the water running for longer than expected as the shower was off, then water starts to come out of the cold water pipe in the basement where a fitting failed. I forgot to mention the plumber used spray foam to install our shower pan which it allowing too much movement and the caulking is failing as a result.Thousands of dollars later we are left very unhappy with the installation we received.

I had their electrical department give me a quote on some renovations. Very friendly and reasonably priced.
