I don't really believe any of the positive reviews here. These are most likely friends of the rude short woman who works at the desk. She is one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. I showed up half an hour before closing and she almost kicked me out. She was not interested in helping me at all, which is exactly what other people have been complaining about for over a year, and this mean woman still works here. Obviously, the management as well does not care at all about customer service. I would never come back here and I would never recommend this place.

Love this place and buy all my stone here. Tracy is fantastic to deal with...always helpful...always friendly. Staff have always delivered great customer service. I have been a customer for years and Ferrell is the first and only choice for me when it comes to my projects.

I went into the store for stone information for fireplace. the gentlemen i dealt with was extremely helpful and courteous. two weeks later, i dealt with caroline and purchased the stone. She had emailed me letting me know my stone was in and i had mentioned i just recently injured myself and would find someone to pick up. I just mentioned this for the reason of it may take me a week or so to pick up as i couldn't lift anything. Caroline went out of her way and arranged delivery to my home with the manager of the store at no charge. Was blown away and as a business manager myself, that is what makes the difference. Well done Ferrell! Have my business for the next project!

I can't say enough about Tracy! She knows her stuff and is always so much fun when ever you go in. She has such a great attitude that you really don't need to go anywhere else. Great products, OVER THE TOP Service!!

Worst customer service. Showed up one day an hour before close and the women was leaving and said we are closed and drove off in a white car.Went back a week later and I was handed catalogues and a business card and told to call them when I know what I want. Tried to ask a couple questions and the women just kept working on the computer giving me short answers and not looking at me at all. No help at all. Terrible customer service. Would never buy anything from here.

I am puzzled by some of the negative reviews here. My experience with Colin was great! I ordered 1700 sqft of slate patio stones and the pricing was very good. Was a mixup with some quantities but resolved quickly. I didn't order everything that project needed, but they made a special order from their supplier to get what I needed next day. Would absolutely go back to Ferrells.

Great customer service, the girl I think her name is Jeanette(?) was great! I had called a few places with out any luck finding pieces for an older home, she was the only one to take the time and help me figure out what I needed. Very refreshing experience from start to finish, the lads in the pick-up area even stayed late to help... Highly recommended!!!

These people are the most atrocious people I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. To rate their customer service any more than brutal would be flattering to them. NEVER again!!!!!!Rating this company one star is still too many. I ordered over $5000 dollars worth of stone for my fire place and front of my house. I ran short for the fireplace, so my wife called to order more. She talked to Tracy who was the sales representative that we had dealt with all along. My wife ordered from manufactures catalogue by color. The colors were reversed in the book. I called and was told, word for word she ordered it

Atrocious customer service over the phone! I was made to feel like I was a bother. No sympathy whatsoever to my predicament. I realize that my request was last minute as a result of an unforeseen situation with my kitchen renovation, so I would have understood if they could not meet my request, but I would have appreciated some sympathy shown through a polite explanation, offered an alternative or at the very least reassurance that they tried their best. The woman I spoke to was rude and was obviously not trained to deal with customers.Follow up from customer: Thanks Colin! I was blown away by the thoroughness of the company's response to my review. You indicated that the matter at hand would be corrected and you went the extra mile to fulfill my request! I honestly thought that my review would not make a bit of difference but you showed me otherwise. I look forward to doing more business with you and your company. All the best!

We had a renovation done to our home and had a fireplace put in. We ordered the stones needed and was promised to be available a week after. They did not come. Hence, i followed up on it and was told probably the following week. In the meantime, here we are waiting for the stones that were supposed to be installed. I waited, then still not a call or even an apology. I went to the office and see whether they could contact the supplier but was told no they cannot they have to wait for their call. In the meantime, it has delayed finishing the fireplace. The long and short of it, I was put in a situation that should not have happened. We could have been told that the stones we ordered would not come at all and let us choose another. We were told that we have to pay 20% of the total cost for the stocking cost when the product did not even come or was not to come till two months after. Fortunately I have my builder contact the owner and told them of the situation and was told that they will give us the full payment we made. Luckily we went to Creative Landscape Depot and they were able to help us with the problem and they were very accommodating. They were dealing with the same supplier as Ferrell. What I do not understand was why they were not willing to call the supplier whether it was on back order or not. I would not recommend this company. Just a phone a call would have made a difference. No sense of urgency.
