Wholesale Club

Although the prices are pretty much the same as our regular supermarket, I must say that our cashier Jocelyn was exceptional! She was incredibly patient with the elderly lady that was ahead of us and was very friendly with us. Good job Jocelyn!

The prices are not at all competitive. The staff have pure attitude. Not even so much as a strained smile. The hours are too short for such a big grocery store. They do have very good prices on coconut water. Apart from that not anything to write home about.

I went to this store a few times, but haven't been back in several months. I don't understand why Loblaws doesn't turn it into a regular supermarket (and maybe a shoppers drug mart) as the neighborhood is lacking one. This store doesn't have a good selection of meats/ vegetables, nor does it have regular items you would find normally at a supermarket (even though it is HUGE in size). I do my shopping mostly at Nations as they have way more selection for reasonable pricing. Hope Loblaws makes a smarter business decision and turn this store into something more usable.

EDIT - 9/24/19 - The level of service has definitely improved so I've increased to 3 stars. Both the return visit via the original incident and another one today, there were no delays or issues. However, I would suggest calling the store prior to heading there to confirm everything will be ready.Original Post - 9/19/19Give yourself plenty of time if you decide to use online ordering for large (as in, a couple pallets) pick up purchases. Waited close to 2 hours today - even while arriving in their set time window - and left empty handed. The staff member Dave" didn't know how to use the scanning system and no one on site could help him because "Mike" wasn't there. Brutal. Had to find back up plans to get stock.Was originally told it would be a 30 minute wait as Dave didn't read the sheet properly and thought I was coming the day after. At the 60 minute point

Lots of items available at a discounted price when you purchase four or more of the same item, I go here often to purchase cat food and litter and other various things. My only negative thing about this location is the cashier's, I'm often not greeted and they seem bothered to do their jobs. Alot of times they're even talking amongst themselves, instead of interacting with me when I'm completing my purchases.

Way better than Costco and I'm surprised no membership required. All employees were nice during my 3 times visited. YES it's not Ikea however service is great and saving are amazing.

They should update this and let people know it is no longer Wholesale Club and is now a Valu Village. Waste of a drive. Thanks!

Interesting place but the prices seem kind of high. The quality of the meat didn't look good when I went there. The cashier told me it's not worth getting the membership... doesn't seem like anyone cares about this place. This place doesn't even compare to any costco.

UPDATE JULY 3RD 2019:Absolutely nothing was done to address the issue. The problem seems to get worse everyday with more people coming to drink and scream at pedestrians. There is up to 20 people at peak hours in the shipping area.They have a horrendous problem with vagrants that loiter in their shipping area, who often harass people that pass by and also drink/urinate in public. Called several times for action to be taken, but alas nothing was done.Prices are steep, selection of groceries are not catered to the neighborhood and cashiers have the worst attitude.Do something about those people in your shipping area.

Haven't been here in a while but if you're serious about buying wholesale they will 100% treat you with pure class.You can tell it's owned by the Loblaw brand immediately and they don't let down when it comes to wholesale.
