It is a rare occasion that I actually get pasta done al dente at an Italian restaurant outside of Italy. However, this little restaurant in little Italy Montreal hit the mark!

Been going there for over 30 years and the food and staff are still the best. The most down home feel and authentic Italian food. Definitely need to try this restaurant out if you haven't been yet. I highly recommend it. Cozy and casual atmosphere great for dates or family gatherings. Thanks to everyone for always make us feel like family.

Food 5, Service 2. The food was fantastic. The pasta were fresh. The italian sausage I had was really tasty. Everything tasted like real italian homemade food, but the service was not great. The waitress was acting like we were bothering her. The busboy was trying to act as a waiter but knew nothing about the menu or wine and keep trying to make unsuccessful jokes. Maybe it was just a bad night for them, but I'm not sure I want to try the experience again.

Went here with my boyfriend because he said he had it three years ago and that it was great. Disappointed him so much to see how they’ve changed. I don’t know if the chefs are different but the food was awful. They served us an hour after we ordered and the ravioli they gave my boyfriend was frozen ravioli reheated. The minestrone we had could have came out of a can better. If you are looking for a cozy atmosphere it’s a good place to go, but the wait is long and the food is much below average.

Food was delicious. Authentic.However the service is the worst service you can have. Very slow, took more than an hour to get our food and the waitress who served us was very mean and not fit to work in customer service.Would not recommend unless you would sacrifice food over bad service.

Great authentic homemade Italian dishes!! Warm and friendly staff! Inviting decor! Feels like... home! And on your way out, don't forget to grab one of their jars of homemade tomato sauce as well as a jar of their homemade spicy spread... both TO DIE FOR!!!

This restaurant is in my honest opinion, one of the best autentic Italian restaurants in Montréal. If you want great food like mamma used to make in a very relaxed setting, this is the spot. Great small family restaurant owned and operated by a duper charming family thatnlives to share their passion for hood food. What ales could you possibly ask for? I can't recommend this place enough just too damn good.

I feel like I owe this place another chance after reading the reviews but I thought the food was ordinary to slightly above average and the service and atmosphere rather bad. The place is rather small and was absolutely packed. It felt hot and loud and claustrophobic to me. Service was painfully slow. We waited forever for someone to take our order and even longer for the food to arrive. Even though they had a lineup of people waiting for tables, they made us wait for our checks.I had the grilled sausage which was rather good but the pasta served with it was mushy / overcooked.Note: I'm not Vegan or even vegetarian but I do try to avoid the most horrible of meats like veal. Almost every dish on the menu contained veal. I ordered the sausage because it didn't specifically mention veal in the description but I suspect it had veal.
