One of my most favorite places too be. Great spot to take the kids fishing. There is no guard rails anywhere at this location, so beware of this if you are bringing younger children here.

Spacious parking lot at the headquarters to just sit and enjoy the gentle lapping of water and the ducks riding the waves..enjoying the view!State game area is more for fishing and hunting but one could take a nice walk with pets on the jutting landAs of now, the roads to the game area are full of potholes, so be mindful

It's a great place to go fishing. There are no chairs or benches or tables or playgrounds. It's purely a parking lot with grass and water around it. There's a port-a-potty there, but it's not the best for cleanliness. The border control and police patrol this area very regularly. So if you don't have a license I'd suggest you not come here. We caught Hugh cat fish and bass and sunfish from here.

Fantastic spot to watch sunrise or sunset. Only downfall is irresponsible people tend to leave trash lying around.
