Ronin Volleyball

I loved all my classes!! This is the BEST place to learn fundamentals of volleyball. The coaches are very approachable, friendly & helpful!! They’re really nice & just want you to learn + have fun :) I can’t recommend this enough!!

My daughter has been attending classes at Ronin for over 6 months now. We are so pleased with the class availability & size, location & quality of instruction. As a rep player, she uses Ronin's skill-specific training classes to further elevate her game. She thoroughly enjoys interacting with the coaches and the flexible class-offerings allow her to drop-in to target specific skills during her rep season.

Literally the best place to learn or improve your volleyball skills. I was a complete beginner before I tried their class last October. Now I play intermediate leagues comfortably. The instructors are all very knowledgeable and excellent at teaching players at all skill levels. Shout out to Matty for constantly noticing my bad habits and always trying to improve my technique.

My daughter has been going to Ronin for about 6 months and she first started at the location in Markham and now, in their newly opened location in Aurora. All the coaches are great! The coaches are really easygoing as the give out detailed instructions where she works on her skills step by step. She has gotten so much better over the last six months! My daughter loves going to Ronin!

My 12 year old started at Ronin a few months ago. She loves coach Mark and Matty. My 10 year old saw her sister play and also became interested so she goes now too. We go to both the Gibson location and Aurora. Gibson’s gym is nice, location is better for us but Aurora has more specialized equipment for training. Engaging fun coaches, small class size so they get individual attention. We see improvement and confidence in our girls.

I looked high and low for a volleyball clinic for adults but could barely find one, I'm so glad I found Ronin. Their pass system is very flexible, unlike other clinics that force you to come every week and only run once every season. The classes are focused on different techniques so you can choose what to learn. I improved a lot within just a couple of months, most of the credit goes to Matty for being very attentive and remembering my progress every time I came. I also like being coached by Matt and Rodon.

I highly recommend Ronin Volleyball to anyone looking to learn or even improve your current skillset. Have a lot of inconsistently with my hitting and Coach Matty was able to pinpoint the exact issues holding me back. Looking forward to attending more classes.

As a father of two young girls, I really appreciate the team building, confidence driven, and practical approach that Ronin volleyball has given my family. A great place for all skill levels to either learn the core fundamentals, or refine a skillset.Ronin has become a bit of a brand name amongst the volleyball circles in the GTA. Once you try one of their classes, you will understand why. Thank you Kanitha, Courtney, and Mark for showing us a healthy life style.

We drove all the way from Barrie to attend a session at the Aurora facility and it was definitely worth the trip!! My two kids were in the YHP Tier 1 level and we had Kanitha as our coach. The session was very well planned and kept the kids moving constantly with little stand around/down time. The information and drills were very much age and skill appropriate. Kanitha’s calm and thoughtful demeanour resonated with my kids and was very much appreciated from a parent’s viewpoint. Also, his ability to provide personalized feedback to each kid in a timely manner was fantastic!! We’ll be back for sure!! Highly recommended!!!
