We ordered the duck combo and chicken liver for starters. It was good and I really like the ambiance of the restaurant. I would prefer the real candles but the atmosphere was nice. The servers were attentive and they kept coming back to check on us. I like this place.

Came for dinner with a friend on Tuesday because we heard there was half off cote de boeuf. It was very tasty- didn’t know that the pepper sauce was added extra although it’s alright, wasn’t too much of an added cost (~$2). Overall good, and very good price for half off!!! Fed two of us and we could barely finish. Service was also very nice and ambience was great too- beautiful outdoor and indoor seating available. Would definitely recommend and come back again :)

Got the steak tartare for take-out and had high hopes for it after reading the reviews but it’s definitely nothing special. I ordered the bigger portion and was only given 3 small pieces of toast that wasn’t enough for the amount of steak tartare. Didn’t like the salad or salad dressing it came with either. The fries were good but they’re just fries, probably wouldn’t come back. Service was friendly though!

5/5: For service, the young lady who served us was very kind and attentive and took great care of us.3.5/5 for food. I was with two other friends. The onion soup and escargot was loved across the table. Generally food was under-seasoned. My friend who got steak and frites was very disappointed with it. Desserts were nice, I tried the choco lava cake and also creme brûlée. The molten centre of cake was excellent but it could have been a tad less sweet. Wine selection was nice.

Overall, not an amazing experience which will make you super happy. For the price you pay on Tuesdays the cote de bouef is half off, 100% it’s a good deal. I would suggest getting Medium well. I believe the meat quality could’ve been better as we were really struggling to chew and the flavour was basically raw… It’s value for money but don’t expect this to be one of your top eats.

Went here on a Tuesday without knowing they had a special for the cote de beouf. It was half off of the regular price of 98$ for 24oz of steak! Like everyone else there that night, we ordered it. We also got two appetizers: the mushroom tartare and the onion soup. The soup was good but not as onion-y as I expected of an onion soup, it was really light so I actually enjoyed it a lot! I would skip on the mushroom tartare it wasn’t anything special and but too citrusy for my liking. The steak was absolutely worth the special, it was a huge platter of food, some tables *only* ordered that dish and was good for the night. While it was a lot of food, I was a little disappointed that a good 30% of the steak was fat and then another 10-20% of it was the bone so really you’re not getting the full 24oz. Nevertheless I still left the bistro satisfied and full! I really liked their crème brûlée, it was so creamy but the sugar crepe was too grainy and sugary. Overall, had a good time and I would come back!

I’ve always loved eating at this restaurant and I haven’t visited in years. We ate here on a Tuesday where they have their special for half off on the Cote De Boeuf. Great big portion and fantastic price with it being half off. Definitely will feed 2 hungry people. Their spicy shrimps were absolutely delicious! This place is great for a date night where its a bit more intimate/moody or even just a casual upscale dinner night. The service was great! Will definitely be coming here more often!

Love the space and vibe here. Bit disappointed with the food though. The French onion soup was not good, barely any onions and broth was bland. Scallops were not fresh, escargot could use more salt. Tartar was ok. Overall needs to be seasoned better. Service was a little slow and server forgot to bring the cocktail out.

Hey gang,Back with another review.This it's Jules Bistro, great space to go to after work, date night, or just go out with the girls.The food is filling, and delicious, (see the pictures attached.)The service was fantastic, attentive, and one thing I wanted to point out, it wasn't a big deal but our table was a tad wobbly, and our server came by and made a quick adjust. I can say it's a small detail but I can speak for most people in sayin it's appreciated.:)The space in the restaurant is a little tight, however, it's cozy. So it's a nice balance.Overall I'd recommend this place to anyone definitely check this nice spot.Great restaurant, keep it up people.Until next time,Cheers,Akil
