I was so impressed with the service at First Choice in Clayton Park. Harir is a wonderful stylist and person. I went in for a full head bleach and she was very concerned about achieving the best results possible while maintaining the integrity of my hair. The results were fantastic! I find it depends much more on the person than the price point. I have spent hundreds of dollars to walk away disappointed. Harir is a both a very talented stylist and a great listener! 10/10.

Been here 2-3 times to get my hair cut. Its a amazing location for sure, in my opinion compared to other locations in the HRM (Halifax Regional Municipality). Also my sons haircut! They where great with him, especially for him heing 2 years old. Highly recommend!

I can confidently say, this barber shop is the best in Clayton park. Here are the top 3 reasons:- #1: Wait Time don’t exist here, even if they do it’s like 5 minutes even though they say it’ll take 1 hour. Don’t worry they’re just pulling your leg.#2: Their Customer Service is a 10/10. They are very nice and helpful.#3: their prices are also very good compared to other barbers in the area.They used to have a location beside dominos in parkland drive but they closed that one and opened this one. This one is much more modern and simple. You just feel calm and relaxed in this place.

Very pathetic salon, no clue on what's going on with their appointment, they take appt bases on expected returns from the client, worthless, if you want to waste your time head on here.....if not better go somewhere else. Good days of better customer service is long gone....I know these reviews will not mean anything to business management and things will keep on going the same way, however, hope this review will help others to save their time...

Marley is one of the greatest hairdressers I have ever met: while being so kind and attentive, she made sure I was comfortable with my big hair change. Would definitely recommend and go back again :)

It took me 15 years living in Halifax to find a stylist worth returning to! Alas, she has been hiding at the Clayton Park Plaza First Choice! Her name is Marli, and whether you are looking for a simple cut or a full chop- Marli's awesome energy and incredible skills will have you leaving happy with your hair. She also understands how to cut hair in order for it to grow out evenly- so the style holds until you decided to return for a trim! You cant deny the skill!

Marlianda is the best! She is confident and shares her knowledge! She does a great job that I cried the last time cause it was like she took the image from my head and just did it! She is amazing!
