I wish there is more than 5 stars review!JAK Al taqwa academyMy children were in French-immersion public schools before transferring them to Al-Taqwa and were having social difficulties due to the pandemic and online schooling. Within few months they were able to read in English, make so many friends that share the same Islamic values. They became more excited about praying, memorizing Quran and fasting Mondays and Thursdays. They are learning so much about their Islamic identity and seeing the diversity and the true spirit of being a Canadian.They are embraced for who they are, they feel safe and happy.I am forever grateful for transferring my kids to Al-Taqwa academy and I appreciate the teachers’ and staff tremendous efforts in managing all post-COVID challenges.May Allah grant you Jannah and bless each person that is working/supporting Al-Taqwa Academy!

Just moved to this school for my final year. As student who has seen 3 years of the public high school system and now is experiencing this great islamic school i can say al taqwa is greatly superior to the public system. Speaking from the point of someone taking Math Science and Computer courses (Advanced Functions, Calculus, Chemistry12 for first semester/ Physics 12, English 12, Computer science 12) teaching wise I’ve never had a better experience. The teachers have outstanding abilities to explain concepts in so many ways that you are bound to understand what is taken and with the small class sizes the teacher can attend to all individual needs while also maintaining the space for students to achieve their goals on their own. The teachers are also very understanding when it comes to having multiple tests in one day and if you just need to talk. The teachers are absolutely astonishing. I would very much recommend this school.

To those who speak against the school system ! you are the liars, if you don't like the school why you go there!!!!! It is really a wonderful school and because the staff and the principal are trying to help and advice, you don't like that ... students need to go to school to play and waste their times, students are no more interested in studying and they never listen even to their parents, that's why they give such unfair comments. Thank you to Mrs. Siham, and Mrs. Sally, the great women who are doing their best to help and support the students , Thank you to the great staff and their efforts, really appreciated. For my little girl, this was home away from home. AlTaqwa academy treated us, as parents, with the utmost dignity and respect. We went through an elaborate tour of the academy and our girl jumped right into play time. We were supposed to start the Monday after, but it was hard to get our daughter out! She was having so much fun. :) Thank you for giving us the peace of mind. Highly recommended!

I attended al Taqwa S.S years ago..and though at first I was unsure about it after attending public systems for years...I was very pleased with the love and support I received.I got one on one attention and assistance that helped in the betterment of my future. They stayed behind me and helped me in my endeavours.This isn’t a biased opinion I’m writing on google..I truly felt love and care I never felt in my previous high school.Perhaps it is simply because it’s a private school but there is an extra push to get us achieving higher standards.I was always a writer growing up, and my first piece of works published in an anthology was a competition taqwa entered me in for Canadian polar publishing. They always believed in me and pushed me to strive in my hobbies and talents. As a result of their encouragement I ended up winning several competitions that actually helped my portfolio entering western university. In my previous high school I felt that I was just a number and got lost in the crowd of hundreds.Even years later I contacted mrs sally for a reference letter and within a day of her busy schedule she emailed it to me. Mrs Sally’s husband also helped my sister with her medical school reference. Whether you’re a current student there or not, they’ll still support you Years later.This is a family of purely good intentions and love. Though people might mistaken their strength, religion and attention as strictness...it is truly because they want us to do well.Thank you Mrs Siham, mrs Kalouti and dr Farouk...you were a blessing in my youth years.

The best school in my opinion for my kids (elementary and 1 in high school). Caring teachers and admin staff, and healthy Islamic environment. My kids learned a lot Islamic-wise compared to what they did in the UAE private Islamic school system (where they spent almost 9 years). In terms of secular education, they were clearly above the regular public school system. I (as a professor in a public university) would wholeheartedly recommend this school.

It's a pretty good school overall, the teachers are very helpful and nice, and the environment is just a relaxed one.

Long overdue review of this great institution. I have had 3 siblings go through Altaqwa Academy , 2 of whom have already graduated and one currently still in high school. Over the years I have witnessed this organization continuously strive to achieve excellence in all that they do. The personal success of the graduates in various careers and strong foundation in religion is a testament to the high caliber education that is provided. Investment in the beautiful new location shows the dedication that they have for our children and the community as a whole. Nothing but praise to the teachers and staff of this institution.

I volunteered at Altaqwa Academy fun day today , and honestly I was impressed how organized was the event, I really enjoyed the day. In addition, the teachers were working so hard. The most important point I really want to mention is about the students they are so polite and well behave with excellent manners that reflects how hard the principal is working to raise a wonderful generation.
