Purchased an infrared unit (highly recommend one) with a mantel from this cozy, welcoming shop in Port Credit. Shipping was exactly 2 weeks (as promised) and I picked up the 2 boxes in which the actual fireplace + mantel were shipped.Came home, assembly is quite easy and all you really need is a screwdriver. The mantel portion was slightly unaligned on one side and we discovered that the wrong size fireplace was ordered/shipped.So I called and emailed the manufacturer as well as the shop the next day and to my surprise, both were quick to respond. The manufacturer was willing to send the side piece for the mantel (if I needed it) and suggested I contact the store to correct the wrong size insert.After a couple of emails back and forth, Terry actually drove out of the city on the weekend to come to our home and replace the fireplace portion with the right one. He also repaired the mantel portion that did not line up. Pure awesome!The end result: Fireplace looks great in the bedroom and we're more than satisfied with the end product. Great selection. Bought our Canadian made electric fire place, and haven't had any issues. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. Well worth it IMO.

When I bought the floor model firebox and mantle I was really impressed with the service, but when I had a small service issue, they instantly replaced the firebox without me asking. Great customer service. Pauline really cares about her customers. Service like it should be. I highly recommend the shop.

I purchased two Electric Fireplace ten years ago and they are still magnificently working to this Date Dec 4, 2019.I never had any problems with them. We purchased a Dimplex fireplace from Pauline and Terry in September. We already had a contractor and chose to book the framing, installation and finishing with him. 10 months later and the contractor suddenly dropped our simple project. I called Terry for advice. Terry came to my home to see what was going on and that was when I found out that the fireplace was not installed correctly. The contractor probably realized his mistake and he was unable to finish the project so he quit. Terry went above and beyond and with his extensive knowledge of the product he was able to finish the installation, with a modification, to our complete satisfaction. Terry and Pauline care about their customers, are knowledgeable about the products they sell, and the after sale service is exceptional.Thank you Pauline and Terry, you're the BEST!
