A great park close to Toronto. There are numerous trails, of all abilities. Festival days. Park staff very friendly and knowledgeable. I saw turtles, geese on nests. Loved my day there. You will too.Recommend highly. Booking time slots beforehand recommended.I'm considering a seasons annual pass.

Excellent conservation area, with well kept trails and fun activities through out the year. They typically offer a year round nature school, as well a maple syrup festival, Halloween activities, and winter holiday / Christmas set up. There's a small independent operated farm where kids can see animals. There's usually a story walk set up near the trails by the farm. They also host weddings and events. Check their website to see what they are offering as it does change. There's plenty of parking. Washrooms and indoor Cafe/ giftshop are open during operating hours.

Wonderful experience. Attended a friend's wedding and I have to say, the venue has an amazing outdoor wooden feel to it. The service team is amazing, helpful, and thoughtful, truly great team. doing their best to host the wedding party & guests. Food was superb and plenty.

Great place to visit with kids. We spent ~3 hours total, and my 4-year old son really loved it. I liked all the outdoor stations (e.g. showing syrup transition between 3 pots, the yokes that kids would use to carry syrup, antlers to pick up hot rocks, the buckets throughout that we could look at, the syrup sample, etc). The horse wagon ride is a bit short, but fine for the price ($2 each). I also liked the hike afterwards, though fyi the incline could be tough for anyone 70+ / not used to hiking. My only complaint is the pancakes sold are so-so, and the syrup we had with the pancakes did not taste as good as the syrup sample on the trail. But I would totally recommend for families, and maybe even groups of adults just looking for something outdoors and a little different.

Great event space in a beautiful environment! Very helpful staff and very accommodating. I highly recommend this venue if you are looking for something a little different from the usual hall type venue.

Sugar shack was an excellent experience for my family. We learnt so much and got to experience so many different treats all related to maple syrup, eg. maple syrup lollipops and pancakes with maple syrup in the visitor centre (all for an additional cost). Other perks were the free balloons for the kids, and the horse and wagon ride ($2 per person) as well as the history and process of maple syrup making. I totally enjoyed this experience.

We visited the centre to experience the Sugarbush festival. The demonstration is very well done. All the stages are quite good, nothing fancy, very Canadian. We loved the experience.
