We're super happy with our beautiful new murphy bed. Our guest room now is a useable space the other 360 days/year!Allan and Ramona were helpful, friendly and communicated well throughout the process. I asked Allan if he could do a matching shelf/night table and he built something that was exactly what I had in mind- I love it!The piece is very well made, with high quality solid wood. Their prices are very reasonable, and they even drove to nelson and installed on Easter Sunday.No surprise that every review here is 5 stars. I'll be recommending them to anyone who will listen!

From our very first communication with Kootenay Beds, Ramona and Allan were friendly and accommodating. The process was very client focused from the bed design to the stain colours. They worked around our schedule for the bed delivery and installation. They both have an extreme dedication to quality and they take pride in their craftsmanship. Not only did our new solid wood Murphy bed give us flexibility for what the room can be used for, but it is also a piece of art! It's very satisfying to get superior quality local custom furniture, at a similar cost to lesser imported alternatives. Thank you Kootenay Beds!

From the moment we first contacted Ramona and Allan it has been an absolute pleasure to work with them. We love our new Kootenay Murphy Bed ~ it is beautiful, functional, and easy to use! We very much appreciate that our bed will last many lifetimes as it is made from real wood - not pressed board. The design is exceptional. It was fascinating to watch the installation process and see just how well our bed is constructed. We highly recommend this excellent local business and its wonderful, personable owners!!! We love our Murphy bed, beautifully constructed from solid wood. It was customised to meet our preferences and space availability. It is a beautiful piece of furniture. Even the logo is attractive. The wood stain was just the colour we wanted. It feels solid and very well constructed. Great value for money considering what other competitors are asking.

We love the Murphy Bed we ordered from Kootenay Beds. We selected a natural pine and it turned out beautiful. We had it delivered right to our door in Vernon by Ace Courier who was also great. The instructions on how to put the bed together were so easy to follow. My husband and I thought it would take much longer to put together than it did. We're already considering a second Murphy bed for our basement and our son and his wife are thinking of one for their spare bedroom too! Great service, great product and great value!

We ordered a bunk bed Murphy style. Fairly easy to install, looks fantastic and functions perfectly - would highly recommend Kootney. Both beds fold up to a beautiful design.

Ramona and Allan were very helpful and the bed is exactly what we needed. I highly recommend purchasing a bed from Kootenay Beds. The beds are beautiful, well made, made from real wood and every detail is thoughtfully considered. The service is incredible. We were looking at other bed kits and Wayfair for options but we are very happy we found Kootenay beds. Allan modified the bunk bed design so we could have twin XL bunk beds instead of twin beds.
