Melanie brought her warmth and soft skills to the shoot and made us feel at ease. She was considerate of the ways in which we wanted to be captured and the story we wanted to tell and equally of the ways we didn’t want to show up on film (we all have our angles right!). She is prompt in her exchanges and clear with the parameters which made setting and managing expectations helpful. Although it can be difficult to let go at a photo shoot it was easy with her in the lead. Communicate over your vision and you should be pleased with your result.

Melanie photographed our small wedding in June of 2022, as well as our reception in August that year. She is a pleasure to work with - such a genuinely kind soul. You barely know she is there, yet she moves all around the action and captures the most incredible candid moments. We've been fortunate enough to have worked with Melanie three times, twice for newborn baby photos and once for a video montage. Her work and professionalism are exceptional! Melanie is attentive and gets to know her subjects before the session. Her passion for photography shows in every single one of the shots she takes.
