Les Foyers Mirabel

First time fireplace buyer. Mathieu Metcalf spent 1 hr with me explaining everything and answering all my questions. He and the installation team were super professional and pleasant... I've now got a beautiful fireplace and so happy! Definitely recommend if you're planning to buy a fireplace!!! Merci a toute l'équipe Foyer Mirabel!!!

Place looks nice and they have quite a large display in their showroom. When talking to a staff member over the phone, they were super informative, and invited us over to take a look at their selection. When we got there, we unfortunately had a different experience. Staff didn’t seem to keen on helping us. I’m guessing since we looked like a young couple, we were not taken as seriously because we weren’t able to answer all the questions (we had just moved into our new home). I felt rushed, and didn’t have the impression they wanted our business. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that since it was a late Friday afternoon, they were already checked out for the weekend. Since we’re buying an insert and a wood burning stove, we’ll likely take our $10,000+ investment elsewhere. Based on other user reviews, this might be a one off, but hopefully my feedback is appreciated.

After researching online we determined that Les Foyers Mirabel it was the best choice for our new wood fireplace,We purchased our fireplace on the end of November it was installed on the 30th of by the 5th of December we started having problems with the fan.We have called many times and recently they admitted they have problems with the fan and they're trying to fix the problem with a manufacturer at the meantime we're getting the runaround with no service,They sold us a product which they knew in advance that has problem.Now a new problem has appeared one of the walls which is a rock it has cracked.And it's only three months old, stay tuned.

Foyers Mirabel was fantastic!!We visited the show room and were greeted with a very informative and friendly salesman (Alain). After looking at our house plans and hearing our needs for the wood stove, he helped us choose the stove best suited for our setting. We chose the Vermont Castings Aspen.The anticipated delivery was actually less than expected.The installation crew (Sebastian & Benoit:) were great. They showed up ready for the challenge of our custom home’s roof and dormer. After protecting our floors and roof, they promptly installed the chimney and stove, cleaned up, and then gave us a tutorial for our new stove.Can’t say enough about how great the service was from start to finish.

Beginning of March 2021, we placed our order for the installation of fireplace. All necessary documents and permissions were obtained within a week after payment of deposit was done. Nobody came at home on the installation date. Follow up from Foyers Mirabel is completely missing. We contacted them several times trying to schedule another date for installation, but the answer was that this is a back order and we must be patient and wait. Not only this, but the customer service representative mentioned that there are other customers who are waiting for installation since September 2020. Beginning of June, we finally had the fireplace installed. Two technicians, who came home for the installation, were very knowledgeable and handy, and they did an excellent job.

Much more expensive than others ... not worth it ..
