This is our favorite place to visit on our trips. Carol is so funny and always makes you smile and laugh!And the icecream is the best!!!Highly recommend everyone taking a trip to see the trains and enjoy some great icecream!!!

First time to visit bit been past ma y times it is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. But read told if you need something midweek give them a call and Carol can arrange to be there after 3:30pm.Wide selection tion of both HO and N gauge locks and rolling stock, both new and used (in the Depot next door). Lots of scenic supplies from Woodland Scenics. And likely can order in for you if it's not on hand. Many other model railway crafting supplies and reference material. Kits and complete models both.I'll be back I'm sure.

I always get a warm hello from the Owner of Countyline Caboose Hobby Store. Well stocked items in HO, N Scale there is a Used Depot there as well. If you go out Bruce County Rd 10 between Hanover and Elmwood Ontario there is a Caboose there where they sell ice cream during the summer.

Great to deal with and very knowledgeable. Carol is great and bends over backwards to help you out. If she doesn't have what you are looking for in stock she will do her utmost to find it for you. I live on Manitoulin Island where there are no hobby shops, not even in Sudbury, so going online is the only way I can purchase items for my HO scale train layout. I send her a list of what I'd like to buy and it is filled and mailed out to me within a day.It is a pleasure to deal with someone whose top priority is the customer.I rarely give 5 stars to anyone or anything but this one is well deserved.ThanksBob Carroll

First time visiting here. Great little store with a LOT of stuff for their size!! Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and can order in pretty much anything you need if they don't have it in stock. Prices were great too!! Will definitely be going back for my model train needs.

Lovely model train store tucked into a caboose and second building. Has a great selection of N and HO scale rolling stock and engines (especially Canadian road names). Large selection of scenery bits, track, buildings and anything else you could ever need.In fact, I'd go so far as to suggest that the County Line Caboose is better equipped for model railway equipment than most city hobby stores.Carol is a pleasure to deal with, too, and has facilitated a few orders on my behalf.I'm not up in this area often, but I definitely make a point of stopping when I am.

The owners are so nice and fun to chat with. The ice cream is delicious and the waffle cones are one of the best I've tried. They don't taste like cardboard like other waffle cones.
