Seems weird to write a review on a dump, so let's write about the staff. Stellar ! What a great, friendly, helpful group of staff. C.O.W needs more people to work for it like these people. Oddly enough, it's clean too ! The system of disposal is simple and efficient. Above all it's affordable !Great staff, great experience.

My first time at a Winnipeg dump site! =DIt's a dump site, what can I say? Well, the drive there was easy enough, easy to read road markers, consistent in/out traffic but not gridlocked, the few people I briefly chatted with were friendly, and informative. They weigh your vehicle before and after you dump and charge you by weight, can't remember the before and after weight but it only cost me $20. driving up the garbage hill was a tad daunting, I was able to back into an area and choose what i wanted to toss out at my own pace (redundant furniture and stuff) BUT... when pulling out slowly and by the way, ALWAYS watch the ground, I had parked right beside a foot long length of... those nail lengths connected by 2 wires meant for nail guns, yeah, a twisted length of that in the ground a couple feet from my tires just waiting WAITING... for the chance to flatten someones tires and as i was about to pull onto the Perimeter when leaving i saw someone changing a flat on their dual axle trailer, that person was dumping 10 feet away from me!! If your going alone as i did your on your own but if you have someone with you, get them to check where your tires are going to remove any debris that can damage your vehicle, it's a dump site, flat tires WILL happen if you are not careful.4 stars because it has an icky smell AND there is a worker there who while friendly should be keeping an eye out for nails and such, they had removed a butane tank from the area but that I can see, it's those clusters of nails I'm worried about. Get on it!

Google said the dump was open but when I went there with a full load it was closed apparently they were searching for dead bodies when it would very well be impossible to find anything when it’s frozen solid

Second time I've been here in a week. Have 4 or 5 vehicles in line waiting to dump. Only half of dumping slots being used. COVID crazy ???? Or poor organization? One wonders.

Absolutely ridiculous that you guys charge to dump compost now. City will do anything to make a quick buck.

Recycling is free here. I brought 7 toilets and it cost zero! The staff is friendly. I forgot to take a picture but here’s a pic of my empty truck. Thanks!!!

Staff are great and Knowledgeable about what you can Recycle and what is just Garbage.

Friendly people, pretty much they recycle everything and you can drop of your waste for a fee of $20

Awesome city employees !, but how is it that the indigenous can shut down a city service without being arrested , where is the equality?
