Jonssons' Your Independent Grocer Kemptville

This store is always clean and organized. They have recently added self checkout. And staff are normally nice and helpful. The only negative is that there's a lot of product after the cash that I like, but it's not worth the effort or going back through the cash.

I posted the picture of the rice. I do not mind it being pricy but it’s so dry and hard that it hurt my mouth. Believe me, part of it as hard as rock. It’s 6pm. They should not sell food like this. Such food should be just discarded. It’s 15.9 per Kg. 1/3 of this container’s worth is 2.48. I don’t mind the price if it’s edible. I’m really very very disappointed with this Independent Store. 0 Star !!!!!

Great for getting groceries... I usually hide a couple beers in the cart so the wife don't notice and I can get a good buzz on while I watch the game, go bills

It’s a decent Independent Grocer. Friendly staff. This location sells beer and wine. There’s an activity room on the second floor with public washrooms.

I love this grocery store , kind of reminds me of the way shopping used to be when I was younger. Love their meat selection as well as the baked goods always fresh and at a good price. Everyone should support local so we can keep local.

Very clean store, and very well laid out. Lots of variety on different products and the prices we're fairly reasonable

Good store to bad for the noisy trucks and cars gathering in their parking lot after 8:00 pm that scream up and down 43 disturbing area residents all night , I won’t go there at night if I need something it’s to the Walmart where you won’t get run off the road !

I was just checked out by Jasmine at 2:06 with my mother and brother. We were buying two Häagen-Dazs boxes which were 2 for 10. After checking out we realized Jasmine had forgotten to scan our second box, we brought this up to Jasmine and told her about the 2 for 10 deal and she looked at us dumb founded and said “well there’s nothing I can do about that now” with a rude tone. We all looked puzzled and said “well one box is 7$ and we purchased 2 only for the deal” she got even more irritated and said “well like I said there’s nothing I can do so if you really want you could go to customer service and figure it out there”. I said “ok well can we have the second box so we can return one and buy both for the deal” she responded “well no you can’t bring it there so you can come back and get it”. I went to customer service and spoke to an amazing nice young lady who asked me why I hadn’t brought the second box. I informed her I wasn’t allowed and she said I could go get it. I walked up to jasmine and asked for the second box and she scuffed and said “well we put it away” I responded with “well you knew I was coming back” she then rolled her eyes and I walked to go find it. After searching for 5 minutes I couldn’t find it and left with no ice cream and in tears. Thanks to the amazing customer service young lady she tried to make me feel better gave me my money back and took my name and number which I hope for a call from the manager. I hope the manager or whoever reads this review understands how upset I am and disrespected I feel by the attitude of this cashier “Jasmine”. I understand everyone has off days but she could have called the manager to fix her mistake or came with me and the box to customer service. Not taken the box away just to be rude when she knew and I told her I would be back for it. Disgusting behaviour.

It's a very nice store and it has what you need sure sometimes out of stock but it's ok. The goods are so good it's hard to stay away from this lovely store!
