Wonderful experience. Ordered the beef stroganoff, the feijoada, and Brazilian chicken patties. The feijoada was okay but that’s more likely due to me not having Brazilian food before and not to them not preparing it well. It would be great if the patties were served with a dipping sauce but totally understand that may not be how they’re authentically served. Either way they were delicious! I’d go back and sample more of the menu.

I went here with my family tonight. This place was highly recommended to me by a colleague of mine. I would classify this as a Brazilian Seafood restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It's Cambridge so parking can be a bit tough but we still managed.

Absolutely delicious and authentic. Their moqueca is to die for- rich and scrumptious without being too heavy or full of dairy. Also highly recommend the dried beef and dried yucca for appetizer. Good sized portions, too.

So I LOVED my drinks. I got their Brazilian Breeze and Blueberry Mix. I also ordered a side order of rice and beans, the Vegetarian Platter, and the Tofu Bobó. My food was good, but I was missing my side order of rice and beans. Unfortunately I felt like my rice was a little greasy, and my beans were too salty. Everything else was fine. I think I would order a different non-vegetarian dish, because I was told that is not their specialty to do veg. I would definitely order any of their juices again, as they survived the trip back as I don't live close, and tasted amazing. I had to contact them about getting a refund for the missing part of my order, they offered me a credit to come back to specifically get the rice and beans I missed out on, but I would rather a refund or the general price credit.I got my food to go, but this place is in high demand as there was a line 10 people deep waiting to be seated and it was a Sunday in the late afternoon when I got there. The dinning room is close quarters, but they have some nice art on the walls and a seascape for the kids. I even found this wine I like that is hard to find was surprising there, though since I was already dehydrated, I decided it wouldn't be a good call to get a glass.I will update my review once I get an update on the refund/credit situation. It didn't wow me though. Food was good, but not amazing. What I did love were their juices, and their drink choices are surprising vast. It does seem to be more meat eater focused.Check them out for yourself.UPDATE 6/20/2023:They sent me a check in the mail for $15 for the missing beans and rice.

The house dish Moqueca is a very good plate, although loved the Brazilian “Picanha”. Good for anyone who wants to meet the first quality of Brazilian food experience, even for the Brazilians, cause if it was in Brazil would be one of the best places. Meet or fish, doesn’t matter, both are good. The waiters are very kind and funny, some of them are Brazilians. The lady who owns the place makes the food tastes like a family Reunion, and is always concerned to delivery the best experience to every one. Definitive most know place

I love ordering from Muqueca and have been doing that for some time now. Recently I actually went there in person and unsurprisingly it’s better! I almost always get the sirloin steak because it’s very tasty and the amount of food you get for the price is incredible. I will be coming back to actually try the food items they are known for and I can’t wait.

We ordered the moqueca de peixe (fish) and moqueca de peixe com camarão (fish and shrimp). The fish dish comes with a fish dipping sauce, and the fish and shrimp version comes with potatoes. Everything was served in a separate clay pot. They also came with a scoop of rice each and some powdered yucca as a topping.I really enjoyed this, and although I'd never had this in Brazil, it felt authentic (the servers spoke Portuguese) but accessible to non-natives (the server explained each item as it was brought out). Service was great as well.

No idea why this place is as delicious as it is but I guess the chefs just know too much. To be honest, I wish more of the menu items included yucca fries but maybe that’s not authentically appropriate. Besides that, I would recommend to any first timers to order yucca fries with linguica for an appetizer, one of the muquecas for an entree, flan for dessert, and caipirinha as a cocktail. Of course everything is very good, and you should not limit yourself to only that.

I have eaten at Muqueca for years and the food is always delicious which is why it’s always packed. It can get crowded especially on weekends since it’s kind of a small space. Sometimes be prepared to wait and add the name to a a waitlist when needed.Sometimes waiting time on food and service may take a little longer than usual depending on how busy it is.I enjoy the tropical juices and the desserts. Our waitress was friendly and very kind.Over all a great experience.
