I would highly recommend Durrie at Lodge Paint and Repair! We had a major water leak in a pipe above the plaster ceiling in the kitchen of our home, which was built in 1982. As most of you will know, a water leak can be a long way away from where you actually see the water. Our plumber had to cut several holes in the plaster ceiling of our kitchen in order to find the leaking pipe…one hole was about 2’ wide and x 8’ long! After the water pipe was repaired, Durrie was able to come in and repair the plaster ceiling for us, as well as some cracks that had occurred. It’s now impossible to see where the gaping holes were located, and there are no more cracks!And, he did an excellent job of preventing dust from the repair job to float through the rest of the house. With any plaster repair job, having dust is a given. But Durrie covered and taped all of the floors with paper, he put up plastic everywhere, and he shut off the furnace and air-exchanger so that the dust was reduced significantly.He also re-painted our open-concept family room and kitchen. His attention to detail was appreciated.It’s not easy to find a trades-person who is actually knowledgeable about plaster from the early 1980s. Durrie is that person!On top of this, Durrie is very personable, polite, and respectful.He is very highly recommended by us!!!

We hired Lodge Paint and Repair to repair several drywall cracks and plaster a new wall, which involved matching a 1/4 difference in depth between the existing and new drywall. Durrie and Dave did an awesome job

After getting into a jam with our previous contractor due to the Pandemic we contacted Durrie to finish the tapping and mudding in our basement. Durrie was willing to fit us in just before the holidays and we are so glad we contacted him. He was great to deal with, did an excellent job, and pricing was more than fair. The end results look great and I would definitely recommend Durrie and Lodge Paint & Repair.

Had Lodge Industries perform a reno on an older home (remove old walls, ceillings) and install new drywall. Durrie and his crew do great work, are professional -- and a rarity these days -- show up on time and get the job done without delays. Couldn't recommend more.

We had Durrie install drywall in a new bathroom that we created out of a small closet. He did an excellent job. We were very happy with the quality of his work and we would definitely recommend him to anyone needing the services he provides. We are hoping to get him back to do some trim work when we're ready for it to be done. Aside from the great quality of his work, he's a very pleasant and kind person. It was a pleasure to do business with him!

Durrie came and did our taping and mudding/sanding for our basement. He was so great to have in our home and not only was on time, but he was a fair price as well. We had a few tricky spots that he finished with amazing quality. He was also fantastic for answering any questions I had. I would 100% recommend Durrie and he would be the first person I would call for any drywall work in the future.

Durrie was a professional through and through. He helped repair damage to the drywall made from a tear down and looks just like new. Extremely responsive, knowledgeable and friendly throughout the whole process. Would highly recommend him to anyone.
