The staff booking my procedure was absolutely off the ball my arrival time was set at 3:00 and my appointment was set at 2:00 when I got to the hospital they had no idea that I was supposed to be there they told me that I would be bumped by 1 hour and that they were running 2 hours behind and I did not receive a phone call from a company that's supposed to be doing the booking this is purely unacceptable. The staff was rude to me the next day and asked why I missed my appointment and just because they have a little sticker on their window that says you can't be rude to stop it means they can be rude to the patients absolutely unacceptable.

Front desk staff were professional and went quickly over the forms I needed to fill out.Dr. Panayides was excellent. He brought in a nurse without asking prior to the exam and was very professional during it. He took the time to answer all my questions and explained in detail what my options were. I felt by the end of our conversation that I had made an educated decision. My surgery went well and the post surgery appointment was to the same level of professionalism. I would recommend Dr Panayides.

I had Dr. Marcil as a surgeon, he went above and beyond to help me find a team so I could lose some weight to make my surgery easier and more successful. He fixed all three of my hernias, pulled out a big ball of old mesh from my abdomen, from a previous surgery, and followed up with my recovery like a true professional. He was very skilled and I can’t say enough good things about him. I highly recommend him as a surgeon. I have had two previous surgeries and he was the only one that I’ve taken the time to write a review on :)

I’ve read all the other reviews and I think they’re highly skewed with how the pandemic hit the health care system here in Alberta. With an extremely busy timeline and seem-to-be endless rescheduling, the staff in this facility had always been accommodating and helpful with all of my queries and I’ve personally seen how they’ve been able to manage a chaotic room full of anxious patients in a calm and professional manner. All I can wish for is we also give the staff some grace as for the most part, they’re not to blame with the issues we all face.

I’ve been at the clinic a few times and the ladies at the front desk have always been so helpful. I’ve needed to call the clinic regarding some concerns and they have always been absolutely amazing and attentive, especially when I have a question for the doctors.

The administrative staff are professional while being friendly. Dr. Panayides is the only surgeon I've visited at this office. He's a skilled surgeon, empathetic to your needs, and easy to communicate with.Highly recommended! My cancer was caught early, removed quickly and 5 years later, no sign of recurrence.

Absolutely rude front desk staff. Made me feel like I didn’t want these people anywhere near my body, especially if I had to be put under for surgery. When these places are meant to care for Albertans they should have some sort of people skills at the front as a first impression face of the company. Highly recommend finding a better place for your own comfort and safety. Disgraceful. Would be “0”stars!
