Chez Piggy has the best risotto that I have had in a long time! I highly recommend it! The server said it was spicy, but it really wasn't. There was some kick, but I barely noticed and I do not do spicy. It was really more for flavour. You can see from my photo that it came with so many mussels, calamari and big shrimp! It is expensive, but it was so worth the money. It was creamy and delicious!!We also ordered the hummus and pita. I wish it came with more pita bread. I'm sure you could ask. We just ate it by itself, because it was still tasty.Lastly, we ordered the Korean Mandu Potstickers. There was kimchi and bulgogi inside. I didn't find it spicy and it was just ok to me. The sauce made it betterNext time, I will order other items from the menu and the risotto again!! FYI: book reservations. The place is pretty small with a few tables. It's also in the alley if you miss it.

This was a great experience!First time to Kingston and to this restaurant. It comes highly reviewed, and I concur.It's a little tricky to find for first-timers because the sign doesn't really give it away. Follow the alley and it will open up to a beautiful courtyard patio not seen or disturbed by the street.Everything was wonderful. The ambiance, the energy, the friendly staff (Kasey is awesome), and the food.Some may consider the menu pricey. I don't mind paying for good food, and this is good food. I trust the pics will do it justice.Their in house strawberry shortcake on a biscuit and gin sangria are must haves!

Second time here and it wasn’t quite as good as I remember. Food was still good quality and cooked beautifully but the composition/presentation was a little off to me - didn’t have the balance and visual appeal I was expecting. However, the service was excellent!The biggest issue we had was when one of our party got their to-go dessert. I’m not convinced a two-bite brownie and a little bit of sauce can ever been deemed as worth the price they charged for it.

Food was amazing still. So nice that this is still a great Kingston destination - my last visit was nearly 20 years ago. We enjoyed appetizers, mains, and dessert. Sat on the patio - it was lovely. Service was a bit slow to start (new waitress) but we got through just fine.

Absolutely delicious food - gorgeous patio (covered) - fantastic service - always delivers! We are NEVER disappointed with our Chez Piggy experiences. The food is incredible and it continues to be our 'go to' for lunch and dinner - on casual AND special occasions. The staff and management are amazing and truly provide a special service successfully meeting the needs of their customers. We ran into a small timing problem once (only once! on one of our many visits) and they were wonderfully accommodating and further proof that this is a top notch spot - not to be missed! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! (Favourite choices: Triple Decker Sandwich or Club Sandwich or Tomato Feta Salad for lunch and Summer in the City gnocchi or Scallops and Bubbles for dinner)

Chez Piggy Restaurant & Bar
My girlfriend and I had a very lovely dinner at the restaurant last weekend. The building is very beautiful with the stone as the shining star. The crispy glazed duck drumettes and the baby greens & nabulsi salad were excellent! We also really enjoyed the mushroom gnocchi. The only misstep was that the braised short rib needed more sauce, it was a touch on the dry side. Everything else was on point, the service, cocktails, dessert. I would come back again.
