Great store, staff and even better fresh and frozen seafood, plus...best of all competitive prices. Protip: call ahead to ask about their daily specials, Ive never gone wrong with DowneastThey usually have cooked crab legs and lobster, fresh clams and packed lobster and cooked mussels to go.Hours are usually 9-6 MTWTHFAlso, it's cash only!

Very efficient on the phone when I made an enquiry regarding fresh snow crab. I picked up 4 full clusters. Very fresh crab at a fair and reasonable price. Tasty succulent and deeeeeeeeeelicous!

I like the staff, the seafood, the prices. They do daily specials, so you should give them a call once in a while. Typically open from Monday to Friday between nine and six I believe.I don't like the cash only thing though. Especially nowadays.I give you my dirty twenties, and I end up with a handful of dirty bills and coins. Who wants to do that nowadays? Would it really be that terrible to get a debit machine in there? With Tap!
