Curry's Artists' Materials - Barrie

Extremely helpful and kind staff. I called to order some supplies for curbside and unfortunately they were all out of stock in store. I was offered the option of ordering online, and they assisted in the entire process and my order came in less than a week! I've been shopping here for years, and even with the diffculties of navigating shopping ristrictions, this store continues to have excellent customer service.

Amazing experience. We were shopping for a gift. The employee helping us was patient, thorough and helped us make our gift selections. First time in, we will be back!!

Everyone there is great. Amber is exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. She made some suggestions that got me over a stumbling block and improved my work.

Took my Grandaughter to get supplies for her birthday. Clark was a great help and a friendly fellow. Answered all our questions with an actual explanation of his answers, which for me who knows nothing, was very helpful.

Staff was very nice and willing to make changes to my order when I changed my mind. Prices were wonderful as well and cheaper than what I could find online. Will definitely shop again.

I love going to this store. So much selection and lots of sales. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I love about an hour away and don’t get there often but when in town, It’s a treat to explore the aisles.

This is a small location for Curry's but I'm so happy that it exists. if you need canvases, oil paints, acrylics, watercolors, drawing supplies, or even picture frames they have it all. On this particular visit I found some 12 inch square frames, a hard size to locate and it was on clearance so I was very happy. On my way up north, I'm able to stop and pick up anything that I may be missing or run out of. The service is really great too, very friendly.

They got most of what I need, everything is priced fairly. What they do have of what I need, they got large selections and good brands. I don’t know about their canvases, though. They have a student discount, so that’s probably a highlight in my life. You can get creative with their stuff. Was able to make a light box using their products, only needed to walk across the street to Canada computers to finish it. Overall, real good stuff. They’re really nice staff as well .

Let me start off by saying that the staff is phenomenal! Knew their stuff, were courteous and friendly... And I'll begin this next part with... THIS WAS NOT THE FAULT OF THE STAFF. The store was having issues receiving some necessary items to restock and some of the shelves were pretty bare since they only just hit the point of reopening where THEY COULD restock. Please do not hesitate to give them a call to see if they have what you need, because they can order certain things in for you. Or better yet, head in and impulse buy if you don't see what you wanted. Curry's has been my favorite art supplier since waaaaaaaay back in grade 9 art. Help this smaller location stay open, throw your money at them and start a new hobby if you're having trouble getting supplies for your current one!

I love this place! The associates are helpful, friendly and most importantly, knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable and very good quality. I wish there was a shop in Orillia. However, Barrie is not that far off.
