Ramada by Wyndham Pincher Creek

A/C Heating unit made a shrieking noise all night. Free breakfast waffle maker did not work. Juice machine put out basically water. Milk was frozen. I’m also a Wyndham Diamond member and this is my second negative review for any business online ever.

The reception staff wasn't friendly at all, we felt we are not welcomed and safe, some Racist comments, breakfast was not good, kitchen staff looks at your plate and give a silly comment, however the swimming pool was ok, and location is good.

Bathroom in the room was not clean, empty beer cans in the mini fridge from a previous tenant, and not an inexpensive stay to say the least.Front counter staff were friendly and helpful checking in. Would have rated higher if the cleanliness was better in the room, and for the price they charged it should have been at least a clean and looked after room. Would look elsewhere if I need a place in the area again

The staff were extremely unpleasant and micro managed their guests. With 3 hockey teams in the building, they expected complete silence with a kids should be seen and not heard mentality. You could feel the tension even at check in where guests were lectured about rules. Understanding that other guests are staying at the hotel, we were all immediately pegged with the assumption of being trouble when we first arrived. Made for a very uncomfortable stay.

Room was great, except for our beautiful view of Walmart rather than mountain views. Breakfast was bad and breakfast staff struggled to keep up with the number of guests. Kids enjoyed the pool, hot tub and water slide.

NOT PET FRIENDLY like they claim.Their policy specifically states cannot leave pets unattended in your room under any circumstances. Not even if youre in the hotel using their amenities that do not allow pets in those areas (ex. pool).They spelt email address wrong, so never received confirm email.Was told on phone check in was 3pm, arrived to find out actually 4pm and then the reception was bothered that we arrived early.Alot of misinformation.2 star as staff was pleasant enough but pretty useless.

The staffs at breakfast dine area was well prepared and well organized even though it’s a busy day. The housekeeping staffs was friendly and helpful of new towels even though I said “Maybe later not now” and they took a note for it and leave us fresh sets of towels after we arrive from Waterton Park. The front desk staffs was alert when we arrived late at night even though she was dealing with with a woman who were accompanied by RCMP, she approached me with smile and kindness. The checkout staff was reliable and patience on my request for my Wyndham points, she tried to get my points on my membership even though we book in through Expedia. I wish I can get that points for my self not to this third party site Expedia, anyways I booked on this third-party site and it’s my bad. Yes the rooms, the bathroom and the hallways at exit areas like the back door staircase are well cleaned/ vacuumed. We have a Quiet room, but the entrance door of our room was not noise proof. People walking on the hallways can hear us talking and we can hear them walking outside. Must be for safety purposes and it’s not a biggie for me, I’m just sharing. The only thing I would suggest in their water slide pool and hot tub facility, that if an accompanying old folks of guests just sitting with their full East Indian national clothing and jewelry on them and looking at our children swimming with their swimwear was kinda feel weird and awkward to us parents. This hotel must strictly implement rules that ONLY people willing to dip into hot tub or swimming pool- must be allowed to enter of course using room keys are required. It’s not sanitary to be around full dressed up people who just wondering, around our little children. The children have human rights to be protected during their fun activities. Overall, I recommended to people who like to visit Waterton Park to stay on this hotel, walking distance to Walmart Pincher and also they allowed my canine/ puppy in our room as she is also part of my family. A fantastic place to stay. We appreciated the short drive to Castle Mountain Ski Resort and the reasonable cost.

Amazing stay. So happy I picked this hotel. Ladies at the front desk were super, room was so very comfortable.And... actual glasses ... not paper or disposable... which i havent seen inna long time;)
