The park has the right name and connotates the right mood for remembrance bearing in mind remembrance always isn't pleasant and a small Park like this means you can bare remembrance for just a moment in a context smaller than life and leave it behind and go on with your day.

Great spot for a picnic, social space, watch the ducks swim in water, even catch a glimpse of salmon coming up to spawn. Great area for shade, washrooms are near by, also some info about the area, on site.

nice little trail by the river going to the visitor information. nice little parc well taken care off. grass is green . bathrooms were also clean thats a plus! enjoyed the stay
