Buccaneer Bar and Grill
Had dinner here on New Year's Eve, and even though it may not be the most elegant dining lounge, everything else was outstanding. The food was amazing, service was terrific and the price was more than reasonable. I would highly recommend eating here and most definitely will be back again soon.

The food was fine. Veggie quesadilla has a bit of extra cheese which made it hard to chew and overpowered other veggies taste. Fish and chips were good quantity. Customer service was really nice and welcoming.

the steak was so over cooked . chewy under seasoned . and just nit good at all....order a side of perch with it literally got like 3 pieces baked patatoe had no sour cream or anything to go with it. and was cold .perch and chip dinner.fries soggy 5 pecies of perch . so small ..paid about 60$ and was wondering what for. that was very big disappointment for my drive to port Stanley for fish and chips. best thing was the bottled tarter sauce .

Maybe not totally a fair review as it is more a comment to the owner. My wife and I parked on the street across from the Bucaneer and before leaving town walked to the public washrooms. Walked through the bucaneer parking lot to get to the washroom and then walked through it going back to the car. The owner sees us walking through the parking lot and assumes we just parked there and says “ I saw you walk from your car ….this lot is for customers” he did not believe us and got himself worked up. I understand he has issues with people parking in his lot and not going to his restaurant. Maybe hire a student to deal with cars coming in and out….figure it out and don’t hassle those that simply walked through your lot.

The quote yellow perch " - it might have been the cheaper white perch - was so coated with a 1/4 inch of tasteless batter and all overcooked and dry - I had to resort to using the tartar sauce to try and eat the stuff - the only thing good was the home cooked fries and the garden salad and the vegetables that came with the $30.00 fish dinner - my wife and I were very disappointed in the whole meal - my first visit and the last for the perch - I should have just saved the $ 60.00 for the 2 meals and went to the Port Burwell Fish store and brought it home and cooked it ourselves in hindsight - live and learn I guess ...."

Found this nice little gem here.The host that found us seating inside to accommodate the number of people was great. Friendly atmosphere. Our server Jessie so very pleasant and came to check on us at all the right time. Such great food even a menu for the kids which was just perfect. The food was so yummy and more than enough for the kids to eat. Would definitely recommend this place if your in the area and wanting a bite to eat!!

Horrible. Canada weekend they block part of the PUBLIC parking lot off to claim as their own. We parked there and went in to eat and drink which was mediocre at best. Then headed to the beach for an hour. While heading to the beach we were run down and threatened to be towed as well had photos taken of our vehicle if we did not leave. For the record their patio was empty and thier" parking lot was full. It's a 2 hour limit on a normal day we were there 40 minutes and then threatened with a tow. Will not be back."
