The first meal I have tried in 2023.I found this Philippine restaurant has something I never seen before on their menu, so I head to here for a bite.I have ordered two dishes, one is Beef Kare-Kare, and the other is Roasted James Chicken. The beef is beef stew with vegetables, I put it on rice. The taste is not strong, and their have a very good sauce with it together, that improves the beef flavour. Also, the beef is soft and full of flavour. The roasted chicken is crispy, and it served with potato wedges. With the rich sauces, tastes creamy and gentle.I enjoy Philippine cuisine, not sure it is traditional standard, but I like it. I can tell those are different Asian cuisine between Chinese and Philippine!

Came for the prix-fixe menu with a group. I got the chicken skin chicharron, pork sisig, and the sipa cheesy cassava bites. The chicharron was tasty, well cooked, and not oily. The pork sisig was balanced and always a good choice. Probably the best dish they offer. It's not too spicy and my little one loved it. The cheesy cassava bites were wrapped in filo dough and fried. They were tied with hay or grass, which may or may not have been edible. Also tried the lumpia; it was nicely fried and prepared. Others in the group were not so lucky. The pansit was very wet and soupy and not very flavourful at all. A huge let-down.Service was good, though when I clumsily spilled water, they gave three thin napkins to sop it up. Not even a cloth or anything. It was odd that a prix-fixe three course meal was served all at once, instead of in courses, but not a deal breaker.A decent meal overall. I feel like there are some solid bangers to order and some items to steer around. I wouldn't go out of my way to come again, especially since there are more consistent places, but wouldn't be opposed to coming back.

It was our first time to order online (skip the dishes) from this restaurant and the experience was TERRIBLE. We ordered food worth $125, to name a few, crispy pata, beef salpicao, lechon pancit, sotanghon soup, fried rice. To our surprised the lechon pancit smells rotten/spoiled. Not so sure what kind of smelly ingredient they put on. Our first and will be our last to experience Filipino food from this restaurant. Overall, we were very disappointed!!

This place has the most authentic Philippine food ever. Family run. The Pork Belly will have you addicted !Recent return to Katmu - food is still amazing. Service is incredibly attentive. Food is better. Nothing on this menu will disappoint. Trust the chef ! Sorry. Didn't take photos until after we were all eating . Next time.

The Pork Sisig is such a small portion. The beef kare kare is watery, too plain and costs me 30$ for just veggie, plain watery soup and barely any beef. I have to wait for 45 minutes for my food to be ready when the restaurant only have 1 table of customer. Unreasonable price for terrible food.

Amazing food and wholesome ambience. My husband loves the pork belly and the sipa dessert. It's very overwhelmingly good. It is covered in lumpia wrapper, deep fried and has a salty sweet caramel for dipping. Uuuggghhh. Can't explain how good it is, you guys should try it. I wish everyone give Katmu a chance to visit, the food are really amazing. Anyways, here's the pictures. You should really visit and thank me later.
