Just ordered some griot, fried Plantains and akra. Was really disappointed meat was not fresh and lack of seasoning, akra was not cooked, plantains was cold overall the food was terrible. Will never recommended this place to anyone. Heard the welcoming was nice but you're not selling cuteness it's a restaurant people is paying for food. Why buying food to throw in the garbage. Very disappointed you better try to find a good cook.

I ordered two times. First time was good. I got the rice with chicken in sauce. Today, I ordered via Uber eats a plate of the same plus another plate with griot…they cancelled the ordered so I said okay let me use door dash…they didn’t cancel that order though. Anyway, i ordered the chicken in sauce and paid 4.99 for extra chicken. The order was wrong when it came, they gave me the chicken in sauce and extra griot as the instead extrachicken, but I didn’t bother to report it. The chicken was so salty. I was disappointed.

I can't say yet whether this is a great place or not. Only been once and ordered the family chicken special. You get about 10 pounds of cooked rice and an anorexic chicken. The portions aren't quite balanced. Sauce was good as was the pikliz. Definitely needs a second try to order individual meals.Owners are nice and friendly and seem to care about their product. We'll be back to try again.Update. 2nd try was great. Ordered individual portions and had a much better culinary experience while dining in the restaurant. Owner was so friendly and felt like we were welcomed into her home.

I cannot believe I didn't try this place sooner. We had the Griot (omg!) and the chicken in sauce (wow!).The portion sizes were huge and the meat was fall-off-the-bone tender. The acras didn't even make it to the table as everyone gobbled them down so fast. We will definitely back!

The food was far from good especially for thr price. The only good thing was the drink which was a custard apple smoothie. Wouldn't recommend this place
