Yes, picking the apples on car is good. Very nice place, large and plenty of apple varieties. Plus the pears! Abbaye is modern style, very welcoming and modest. You can directly in the orchards or leave your car near the Abbaye and do a hike up. Recommended.

Abbaye Cistercienne Notre-Dame de Nazareth
This is really a huge apple and pear orchard... different from other farms. Here they let you drive your car into the orchard and park wherever you want. You can have a picnic, and relax, or walk around...most people were driving from one area of the orchard to the next. So many types of apples...gotta bring home a few of each type. Remember to bring cash, as they don't take other forms of payment. Price for the apples/pears is $15.00 a bag, a fairly large bag. Their store is full of interesting products, no one leaves without purchasing something. Go early, as the orchard will become busier in the afternoons.

Very spacious and beautiful place for apple picking. You can drive through the site and chose the type of apple. Went for honeycrisp apple and pear.

One of the best place to go apples and pears picking! Very large and clean! You can drive in and park your car just next to the trees ! You can picnic there too. The pears at the begining of September are just way too delicious! They have a store with alot of local products such as honey, juice, cheese, etc.

This Abbaye is very serene and the volunteers are so nice. Very peaceful.Now when it is Pear and Apple picking season, the place tends to get very busy. Always bring cash with you as you can buy some some local products.Hats off to the Monks for the management of this Abbaye and all the kind people who renovated the shop and help keep this place serene.I have attached the pictures. Abbaye Cistercienne Notre-Dame de Nazareth
This is a monastery with Benedictian order. Monks are living here who make their living and food on their own. The huge space is for them to cultivate whatever they need. The place is very calm full of positive vibes.

I have been going to this place to pick apples for the past 10 years at least and each year is better and better and better. This year I came with my granddaughter and she unfortunately lost her little stuffy and some amazing person picked it up and brought it to the lost and found and averted the most incredible crisis thank you to ever was so kind.
