Barrhead Plumbing & Heating

I had to get my forced air wood furnace rewired since the original installer wired it wrong. They sent a lad over within a week of my call. He did some troubleshooting and rewired the whole system within a few hours and now it's working great. He was personable and professional. Even tho he didn't have much experience with this system, not many people do with this set up, he seemed to have a good understanding of the mechanics behind it. Not the cheapest place but reasonable and reliable so no complaints there. I would do business with them again.

My furnace stopped working the fan kept running and blowing cold air. I tried a few things myself to see if I could fix it but when that didn’t work I called them. Right from the beginning they were eager to help me. I explained and they said they could fit me in the next day. And they did. Daniel called and asked some questions and then headed over. He was polite, professional, answered any questions I had, and got the job done in a quick & reliable matter.

We had hired this company to install a new faucet and redo the pvc plumbing under our kitchen sink. Initially we thought it was great work until we noticed there was a bit of leaking after running the dishwasher. We had them back 3 times before Christmas ‘20 to fix the leak that never seemed to go away. Over the Christmas holiday larger amounts of cooking were had, making more dishes and therefore more dishwasher loads. On Christmas night my wife went into our cold room and notice pooled water behind the deep freeze. What I’d noticed after pulling out the deep freeze was that there is the pvc drain pipe from the kitchen sink directly behind the freezer. My suspicions that this was from the leak under the kitchen sink were confirmed by a project manager from a restoration company. After we had them come back and redo what seemed to be the troubling section we have had no more issues. When we broached the subject of them covering the cost to ensure no damage had been done in the wall cavity, they at first didn’t call back and then claimed they weren’t at fault. We will be taking our future business elsewhere and can only say homeowner beware.

We just moved to this area so I did not have any idea of who to call for our AC installation. I called Barrhead Plumbing & Heating and spoke to Rhonda. She was extremely pleasant to deal with and super helpful. She told me they would be out on a Friday and sure enough a young man by the name of Nathan showed up. He too was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and a true problem solver. I cannot say enough about the experience and will certainly call them for future needs. Thank you :)
